Transformers Helps Activision Exceed First Quarter

It seems like the Transformers Movie is not only a making money at the box office, but also enjoying success in the video game realm as well. Reuters.com has posted an article about Activision's first quarter earnings projections. According to Activison their first quarter profits are now projected to exceed expectations in part do to sales of move tie in games including Transformers: The Game. I'm glad their sales went up, I'm happy for them. It would've been nicer if they had made a better game though.

NOTE: When I first tried to reply, it said "Can't Connect To Database" O_o...

Agreed. I think this game was a weak effort. Why no online or versus play-like a mech game, etc. Wouldn't it be great to be able to design/modify your transformer and take it online to take on others-form teams. Heck, just to be able to take on a friend in a versus mode would have made me happy. This game, at least for the XB360, with it's linear storyline, was just too shallow.

I just got it the other day and have only played it a few times. The graphics are slick, but the controls are a bit hard for me and the game is difficult overall. I'm gonna pick up the guide to see if it helps, but as of now I can't get pass the "chase 'em down and destroy them levels" with Bumblebee and Scorponok. Btw, no I don't play video games all that much, so it could just be me.

No surprises there. The whole reason they make games based off movies is because they sell well no matter how bad they are.
