PSP memory stick question

I have a 32MB memory stick for my PSP. I can hold a bunch of songs, but that limits how many save files I can have.

My sister's boyfriend (And possibly the coolest dude on Earth) says he's going to upgrade his PDA, and has a 1GB memory stick he wants to get rid of.

Apparently, it's the same design as my PSP's memory stick.

My question is this: Would any memory stick work with the PSP?

Thanks in advance! :D

Any memory stick duo will work with the psp, the older memory sticks wont as they wont fit into slot as they are twice as long, the new m2 memory sticks would probaly also work if placed into a duo adapter, as for capacity all the duos will work though the 8gb stick needs one of the more recent firmware versions.

Hope this helps.

Nope. But memory sticks are easy to find these days. They're cheaper now too. Grab a 4GB stick. I found one at Gamestop selling for $100. But if not, the 1GB sticks are selling for less than $25 now.
