I really have never posted to this forum before so he it goes. I was wondering if anyone was looking forward to blue dragon at the end of this month, I have been reading were people are turned off by the graphics because they look like an episode of dragon ball z.

I know I'm looking forward to it, but probably wont get it immediately due to the awesomeness of Bioshock coming out on the same day and the fact that I wont get my 360 back for another 3-4 weeks. As for it looking like dbz, what do they expect Akira Toriyama(the manga-ka who did Dragonball, Dr Slump and the charachter designs for all the Dragon Quest games) did the charachter designs.

Don't forget Chrono Trigger.

If I had a 360, I'd defiantly look forward to it.
I happen to like Akira Toriyama's character designs.

I liked Dragon Quest, so I played the Demo for Blue Dragon.
It's not bad, the combat is pretty neat, the story, from the dungeon I was allowed in, was ok.
It's not a bad game, but, I was only given an hour to play the demo and I ended up switching over to Overlord once that demo finished.
So the game may be a rental, get a feeling for the whole story and such, then see if it's worth buying.

I have Blue Dragon reserved. I liked the demo I played on Xbox live.

I liked the demo so I'll be picking it up. Blue Dragon and Bioshock will keep me busy until Halo 3.

Demo failed to draw me in. I'm not buying it
Also, the voice actors sucked.

Honestly, OXM gave the early review of the JP version a 9/10, yet somehow months later they give the completed US version a 7.5.

I agree Eternal Sonata looks excellent as well. As for the Blue Dragon review...c'mon it is OXM. Do you really expect them to do anything right?
