I hate children on xbox live!

Granted I myself can be considered a child(14 now, 15 in less than 3 months) but I atleast the mindset to not be a total douche. Ive noticed the biggest problem with potty-mouthed middle schoolers is in Rainbow Six: Vegas. For instance the other day the host was a kid in 7th grade, I know this because he wouldnt stop bitching about the teachers in the lobby, and we had to protect a package for 20 mins to win. So the captured the package and took it into a stairwell were we killed the carrier and just camped inside the stairwell. The host had restricted explosives on the server, so the only way to clear us was to go in and kill us one by one. But he didn't do that with his team, instead he kicked everyone from our team off the server so he could have his way. Then today we played a deathmatch like game and the host was another preteen and he said "Let's do pistols only, and no grenades" so we all followed this rule for the match. Then after a while we are cleaning their clocks to they start whiping out assault rifles and kill one of our teammates with grenade. So we bust out our primary weapons and kick their asses 44 to 17. When we get back to the lobby they accuse us of cheating, even though they changed weapons first and then they said it was unfair because it was 5 on 3, then I told the little punk to shut it because the 5th person just joined the match and didnt play in the last one. Then we start another match and surprise surprise, we're kicking their asses again so being the immature kids that they are, they kick us all from the game.
So the topic is simple, post your experiences and vent your anger, and I just want to state that I am not putting a sterotype on all children on xbl that all of them are like that.

It's the same with halo PC. most people stay in their servers and use host advantage and they don't get any real experiance. Plus they complain when they go into other games, screaming 'he's using a mod!' 'he's cheating!'. then there are people who get the rod launcher and fire rapidly at the base, or get hold of tanks, park outside the bases and pick off anyone who spawns.
It's cheap gameplay like that that just kills my love of the game.

I got 1 word for you: Halo
It's a great game with a horrible and evil following. If Halo was played how it was ment to be played, it would be in the Winter Olympic Games by now. But no. You got you're modding, stand-bying, super jumping, RXB'ing, etc, etc, etc. It's like I said in another topic; children, and the immature, should not be allowed to play with more mature people.
Though I do admit. I have spawn camped many times. It's Bungies fault for making them spawn there without cover or anything. And it goes both ways. Many, many times I have been blind sided by people who spawn rigt behind me. Just think of a CTF match on Coagulation/Blood Gultch. You CAN NOT sneak from either ridge to the base without getting spotted. And 90% of the time, it's because some yuk just spawned behind, or even in front of you. Which also ticks me off, when I'm going to grab a weapon and a guy spawns right infront of me, or even on top of it and picks it up before me! That's my gun!
But I'll end here before I get any further off topic.

I think there was one time that was good was when a guy was playing Vegas with his 4 year old son and he was kicking peoples asses, and the dad never acted up and I guess he would control his son had he acted up during the match.

Honestly I fins young people to be rare when I'm playing. Or if they are younger they behave themselves prett well. I can only think of one time where I was playing Halo 2 and there was a moronic whiny voiced 12 year old. He was spawn camping in burial mounds so every time I would spawn where he was, I'd be dead from a sniper round. Then I realized that I can duck right as I spawn. I ducked, he shot, he missed, I stuck him with a plasma grenade. Afterwards I proceeded to teabag him and get him really pissed. So for the rest of the game he's solely trying to kill me while spouting off some very colorful language. To be quick about it, he never killed me for the remaining 7 minutes of the match and I got about 9 kills on him.
It's amazing how blind hatred of a person really disables your ability to play well.

Like I said before its not all of them that do it, it's jsut certain games at certain times you get the whiny kids who bitch when you kill them.

Kinda makes me glad I'm still in the tech Stone Age and not on Live. If I were, I'd probably just be on it get downloadable stuff and Live Arcade titles. I run into enough potty-mouthed infants in the real world, I wouldn't want to deal with them in a virtual one, too.

This is just the reason I don't like online play, though I do play a few Nintendo Clubhouse Games (DS) online (mainly bowling and darts) and you get the odd pain on there, the chat is just fixed phrases so thats not a prob, but what they do is when its their turn they do nothing and it really stuffs the game, or they might play but if they are losing they will bail out, this is really a pain if its just two people playing.
So its a rule, no matter what online game you play, your always going to have someone mess it up for everyone else.

Halo 2. It was a CTF match on Coagulation. A pair of players way younger than me constantly are bitching the entire game. It was to the point where I just wanted to throw my headset into my TV. They steal my team's flag, and are nearly at their base when BAMMMM... I run them over with my Warthog.

Satisfying isn't it? Whats better is when you fire a sniper round and it hits one guy and because of the horrible hit detection it also takes out the guy running along side of him....Good times. Good times.

The damned idiots and children on Live are the reason I pretty much stopped playing online multiplayer. Though I still indulge when I feel like getting pissed at children.
Although, I gotta say, I love pissing people off on Live.
Sure, I give them a chance, I play fairly until they start talking ****. Then I got Militant Ninja on their asses. Stoop in a corner with the shotgun, wait for them to walk past, boom. Get behind them, and crack, right in the back of the skull.
I love it. Especially hearing them cry "waaaah you're cheating waaaaah hax, hax"
The one thing I do love, is CTF, get CTF on coagulation going and I'm in heaven. I stick on defense with two pistols and just mercilessly murder the people who try to take the flag.
And when we're down within the last minute of the game, it's awesome as hell just to drop down, take the banshee pick up the rocket launcher(if it's there, by that time it usually is), get back into the banshee drop out of the sky above the hole in their base and fire a couple shots down in as you're falling, grab the flag and run like hell to the teleporter. I usually end up scoring that way. It rocks.

I don't blame the kids, who will end up being socially inept when they grow up, but the parents who buy them the games in the first place. My aunt bought my 9 year old cousin GTA, and his 3 year old brother plays it with him. I find it disturbing, but I don't think that will make the kid a cereal killer.
Whats worse is the immature teenagers like Hugo was talking about. "U suck, your hacking. I'm booting you for no reason at all other than the fact that I have some teen angst i need to vent." I'm 16, 17 the day Halo 3 comes out, and I am disgraced by those types of people I meet. They're the worst people u can meet on a game.
Here's a story of what happens when u are a disgruntled teen:
A friend of mine got auto-booted for teamkilling 5 people (which started from a fight between him and another player), so he sends the host and the guy he was fighting a nasty message because he didn't realize he was booted automatically. The host, who is a good friend o' mine, must have been away. So his wife got the message. She went ape 5h!t on his @$$, reported him for harassment and all. Probably the funniest moment I have had on Live yet.
On the off chance I do an optimatch search on Vegas, I pray I don't end up in:
1) a room run by a little kid
2) a room run by an disgruntled teen
3) a room without explosives so I can't blow up numbers 1 and 2.

Another problem I've encountered in Vegas is these two kids who always sends me game invites when I'm on, they yell into the mics, have their conversations with people in the house by yelling to them cuz they're on a different floor and don't mute the mics so you hear a ear piercing yell, always quote the Chappelle Show, then when they find a line they like they'll keep repeating it throughout the match, and rap and act like they're growing up in the projects. I just want to yell at them for that because lets face it, no kid is playing xbox live and is living in the ghetto.

I just realized something. And I thank Tartarus for it....I can now officially initiate "Hammer Time" in multiplayer! Oh man I'm gonna have that song play in the background every match!

I have way to many stories to tell. I hate dealing with young kids in Rainbow 6 Vegas. They never play by the rules and all they do is wine about something. Im not saying that adults are any better. Ive met some serious d-bags while playing on live. Thats why i dont play halo or gears online any more. But when your the host or you know the host you can kick any one who pisses you off.

When i play GoW, there's a tactic i like to use. There was this lil kid that was running a server and i took this one guy out using blind shots while hiding behind a like a wall or something and then wait for someone to come along and revive him and i'll take more blind shots on that dude before he does the revival. (that's my tactic) and the lil kid running the server said i was cheating and banned me from the server. it was gay
