First of all, a mode to free roam and to CHOOSE your charecter. Second, To be ALL of the robots; what, 13 charecters is too much? I was VERY dissapionted to find out that you cannot be Brawl or Bonecrusher... Another thing would be cool if Scorponok could transform. And a BIG thing would be for multiplayer mode. Just some things that would make it better...

Yep, all true. I hope it'll be like that if there is a game for TFM2. Also, if there will be flying, the controls should be sorted out as the flying is very hard and confusing (atleast, for me it is).

The flying controls I found easy. Though I have a knack for multitasking on the analogue sticks that my friends don't, so maybe that's just me.
My main gripe is the boss battles are extremly repetitive. A 3 3hit cobos and they run. And they just block the entire time. At least the Autobots do. The Armarda game had much better boss battles.

It would also be nice to be able to transform in mid air. I wanted to kinda recreate the scene where Starscream takes out the jets in mid air by transforming repeatedly. But NO, you have to be in vehicle mode to transform in mid air, and you have to be ON THE GROUND to transform to vehicle!
I hope they come out with a mod, or download to make transforming a "any time" thing.

If you run off the side of something, you can transform while your falling. In either mode. That's about as close as you can get.

basing it on the dynasty warriors engine would be fun...

I know that. I've driving off buildings, or drove up ramps' then trasformed in mid jump, but I mean like when you're falling after transforming in the sky, or doing so when you jump.
Is it just me, or does Optimus Prime seem to get stuck on small objects on the road the most? I remember the first time tried the "Flight of the Bumblebee" level. I lost him before you could say "Robots in disguise" when I accidentally drove into a peice of debris on the ground, and no matter what, I was stuck, and had to transform in order to escape.

I know what you mean. Unfortunatly, that can't be done. The jumping off ramp technique is the closest you can get to it.
As for Prime, he didn't really get stuck on anything, but I don't like the way he does that massive jump when he transforms. And you can't steer him until he lands. There was no need to put that in.

The jump he makes is also annoying because you can't really make out his transformation all that well like the others.

If you come to a complete stop, you can rotate the camera around to get a better angle of the transformation. Prime has a sweet transformation from the side.

If they had given it the effort that was put into the Armada game, it would've been great.
Also, what the hecks up with it's 1080p? It looks worse running at 1080p than it does running at standard def.!

If only it was Melbourne house and Atari doing it.
One thing I like this one for is the actual transformations. In the Armarda game, they just sorta flip up in the air and come down transformed except for SS who is the only one in that game that actually looks like he transforms. All of them look like they are transforming in this one.

Yeah I've tried different camera angles, but it's still a bit uncleast. But I can make out the back (with that smooth silver venting metal) forming the arms, which leads me to conclusion that the transformation is similiar to Leader Class Prime.

Very true about the transforming bit. They all look smashing except for Prime...he just seems to "pop" into his vehicle mode, and "pop" out of it too. I still think it could do with a bit of graphical polishing too.
The most irritating thing to me was how utterly useless your weaponry is! Your guns were your life in Armada, as was the tried and true circle strife maneuver. In the movie game...fuh...guns are useless! Major disappointment.

Guns aren't completely useless. They work on the forklift drones. And Swindle. And the human cars.
That is pretty useless as those drones get obliterated with a swift punch anyway.

i've had this thought for the longest time and i know it'll never happen but here's what i think would make a great tf's game:
1.make it g1. no stupid ass bayformers!!
2.make it like the metroid prime games.first person in bot mode then switch to third person in alt mode like samus' morphball.
3.get a developer who actually knows about tf's and is committed to making a great game no matter how long it takes.(sadly, both weren't accomplished when it came to this game AND the movie)

It'd be fun if Arcee was an unlockable character.

I got this game a couple days ago now. You know what would make it better? If it was fun to play. The driving control is wretched. Not being able to transform at any time is too. Gathering the same 100 cubes every level and doing the same monotonous skill achievements every board is just dumb. Also, chasing enemies before they get away isn't a bad idea, that is if the enemy AI didn't have a boost feature just like the player and if they didn't use it at exactly the same moments the player does. Having to hear the same repetitive game commands when you're trying to do your own thing is god damned grating. If you go to your pause menus you can check your objectives there. I don't need Prime or Starscream screeching in my ears every 20 seconds telling me how to further the story. I get it. I've played video games before. I'm exploring like any good game should let you do, at your own pace. Don't get me wrong, I love Transformers. I love video games. I do not love this Transformers video game though. I enjoyed the Armada game so much more.

1: It wouldn't be TRANSFORMERS-THE MOVIE GAME then.
2: You wouldn't be able to admire the new Transformers designs.
3: Well, what do you expect from a game based on an upcoming movie?! It's a well known fact that movie games are rushed. Get over it, nothing we can do will change that.
In other words, I pretty much disagree with everything you said. Now 1st person view does seem somewhat interestng, but you should also be able to switch view modes so you can see the robot model if you want.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of 1st person shooters, except for Halo. And the odd occasion on Battlefront when I want to see the Imperial walkers from eye level. But the ability to choose would be nice.

A couple of things I would have liked to see different:
-More weapon heavy...possibly even make upgrades for them similar to Armada so you've got a few options to mix things up a little. Hell, it'd be more incentive to collect energon cubes....
-more variety of enemy A.I. the standard *run up to you & smash untill dead*
-better boss battles...I mean hell, Megatron, the big badass himself, simply does a couple of quick fly-bys & then mimmicks the drones....first he charges like the charging drones, then he swings his mace around like wrecker drones, then he shoots fire out of his hands like the jet drones....& that's it. Others consist of simply whack on them untill they run off & then the actual challenge of the boss fights comes from fighting craploads of drones. Makes me miss having a PS2. Now Tidal Wave was a challenge. One of the best boss fights in a game ever!!
-ability upgrades...maybe if they had it where climbing buildings was an upgrade....other things that restrict movement untill you explore more of each level. One similar to the minicon Shepard in the Armada game that lets you see the locations of hidden objects, such as the faction symbols(or maybe the level energon cubes).
-more melee combos...well hell, any melee combos for that matter, besides hit button multiple times untill drone is dead.
-enemies could only under certain circumstances put up an energy shield. Other than that they're just as explodable as the environments....maybe just a bit harder to explode.
-DO NOT make it where a lamp post does more damage to other bots than an alien weapon of mass destruction, such as a fusion cannon.
-Oh yeah, most importsnt: fix all the glitches before even attempting to put it out on shelves, especially the one where the 360 won't even acknowledge that the game is even in a 360 half the time. The glitches that make the game freeze up wouldn't hurt, either.
One thig I might like to say at this point, though.....I actually really like the game we got. These things would just make the game that much better.
