I just got it and love it!
Sure is weird given that I hated Wind Waker and this is somewhat a continuation.
I guess I like this because they brought back good old ariel view and stuff and I'm real old school like that.

Well, it is definitely worth buying. I'm a huge as well as picky "Legend of Zelda" fan and this one is definitely a keeper for anyone.

It's damn fun, art is fantastic, and it's going to be a longish game for the DS.
Got it last night, and I am already Looking forward to the weekend so i can sit down and play hours of it straight.

On one of the floors shortly after the midway/save point in the Ocean Temple, there is a safe zone in the upper right corner with a ledge. On the ledge is a yellow time pot and a door. How do you get up their?

Okay, I read that it was lame and easy. I read that it tells you what to do in the puzzles. I read that you can kill a monster with one hit just by tapping him with the stylus.
Is this true?
How challenging is it? How much exploration is there?
Wind Waker was too easy. Is this another kiddie Zelda game, since so much of the DS seems to be marketed to children?

There are places in the game where you can find hints just like with any Zelda game, but the hints are not forced onto your screen. Not every character takes only one hit to kill as far as # of hits to kill compared to type of enemy goes it is about the same as in "Link to the Past", but I found the bosses in this take more hits to defeat than in most Zelda games. The first boss in this was about the same as 'Blind' in "Link to the Past".
So, if someone wrote it was easy, that's because they must have used every hint in the game rather than not using them at all as I how I am playing it.

Got it for my birthday the other day, bloody great, I don't own any of the console games but have most of the gameboy versions.
I love that it has humour included, and the styling makes it easy for characters to emote, including Link, my fave bit is on the Ghost ship after you beat the Cubis Sisters, when you see Linebeck behind Link knocking Stone Tetra over!!
So this is my fave Zelda game at the moment, going to get a few good plays out of it.

Started it last night, played for fours hours straight. Got through the first dungeon and boss, who while not being a hard boss, still took a lot more hits than I was expecting.
I waste far too much time cutting the grass, and the Boomerang is pure unadulterated Awesomesauce, the control system for it on the DS far outweighs any previous control system for it on any console game.

Is that the Blue hardcover book with Gold embossing and gold edged pages?
I got that too, have not used it, but I pulled the poster and Bookmark out of it so they wouldn't warp it. Such a nice looking help book!
