Did anyone else pick this masterpiece up? I've been a longtime fan of Bioware, but damn they outdid themselves this time. The character and alien designs are so well done and have a slight Star Wars feel to them.

If only all RPGs were this well done. Twelve hours went by today and I didn't even notice how late it was. The only thing that stopped me from playing was the need for some visine.

I really want to play it. But unless by some miracle they change their minds and port it to PC, I won't be doing that. =(

Both KotOR and Jade Empire were ported to PC, so there might be a port down the line. Weirder things have happened.

Got it the day of and I absolutely love it. Really is a great experience but I must say that I kinda like Assassin's Creed better just because of the action. It seems that whatever gunfight I get into on uncharted planets they last like an hour.

Very fun game and I love everything about it with no complaints at all. I'd definately recommend buying it because neither this nor assassin's creed can be done in a rental period unless you have 36 hours of time on your hands.

I really want this, but I need to know it can entertain me. I managed to rack up over 200 hours on Kotor, do we think it can do this?

There is just so much to do in this that I think the hours will stack up easily. I spent six hours on the first part of the game, and I didn't even finish every thing there (the Citadel). The battles seem more fluid than Kotor, using a over the shoulder point of view.

It doesn't even feel like a normal rpg or action rpg. Driving takes some practice to get the system down, but once you do its an effective weapon. If you're sitting on the fence for this one, by all means buy it.

200 hours? No problem for me.

I picked it up and I love the game. There is so much you can do in it and so much to see. I also spent countless hours on Citadel. I would recommend this game to everyone, it's really a great game.

Been going system to system doing everything I can in each and every sidequest I can find. I've got 15 hours done and up to level 30 something and I havn't done a thing with the primary storyline since I left Citadel.

Noveria is a fun section to play. It's the only other main storyline segment I've done since the Citadel. I love the way when you're close to finishing a quest, 2 or 3 more pop up. My only complaint so far is Sheppard looks a little funny while running if you don't have a weapon drawn.

I loved it, finished it in 12 hours, level 36 inflitraitor(Sniper, mechanic). Started over on Hardcore and this time going to do more sidequest.

The reapers are alot like Unicron, much smaller through.

I want to know, the lesbian/alien sex scene.
Do you actually see anything, or is it just a cock-tease?

YES!
But if you're expecting hardcore porn you will be disappointed.
It's an R-Rated movie style sex sence.

Shepard's last reply after the scene is funny.

I'm on my second play through now and am just being an ass to everyone. A lot of Shepard's renegade responses had me on the floor. My personal favorite is his big stupid jellyfish line. One thing I wasn't expecting was getting laid by the consort by being a jerk.

this game feels too much like KOTOR minus the lightsabers.... they should have just made it KOTOR3..

I've seen playthroughs through Hpaw and youtube, but i dont have a 360 so i cant get it still it's pretty amazing. Still it would be nice if you could have more than 6 other party members to choose from they made a huge universe for only 6 playable characters.

Agreed. Why there is some refusal to do another one, I'm unsure. But it's annoying to say the least.

I am guessing since Mass Efect is suposed to be a trilogy we won't see a KOTOR 3

Bioware wants all three ME game to come out in the same generation of system. I could see KOTOR3 coming out if they did the same thing that was done with KOTOR2, just let another company develope it. Personally, I would like Bioware to do it.

I really wonder if the storyline for all of the ME games were done at the same time. I didn't follow its developement, but I keep hearing it took 4 years to complete. If they didn't make too many changes to the game, they could crank out sequels year after year. I hope that this won't be the case.

I stopped playing the Prince of Persia series for reasons like that. A game was coming out every year, and I just started to care less and less. Even now, see Assassin's Creed does nothing for me. As much as I want ME2 right now, I don't want to see a basic cut and paste with new voiceovers as a sequel.

I know they said there will be episodic content delivered by Xbox Live in between games to link them.

Bioware has already announced that they're planning a new game with LucasArts.
