A bit of advice with my X-Mas games/consoles

I kinda need some advice, I have two choices
PS3+3 games.
or
8 Wii/DS games

I am kinda leaning to the PS3 because of the genericness and suckyness of a majority of Wii/DS games, but I know it has some gems(Well, maybe with the Wii )

Only guidelines.

-PS3 games
Only two can be suggested as I am heartset on Ratchet and Clank 5. Nothing that is a multiplatform unless PS360. I have a Wii, if I wanted it, i'd buy it for that . Over 20Hours Long. No FPS, I am no good at them. No Sports games unless cute. No 360, anything I actualy like there is Multiplatform or can live without.

-Wii Games
I have: MySims, Sonic atSR(Also known as: Sonic, and the horrid game controls, damn it Sega, Full "classic controller" NES controls or nunchuck usage), Transformers, Marvel Ultimate Allience, TMNT, Guitar Hero III.
No Mario Galaxy, Mario 64 bored me to tears. No PS2 ports, again, I do have a PS2(Does not include Every stystem titles). No generic games like Catz and Dogz. No Pokemon Battle Revolution unless someone can tell me the rental pass system allows you to use all pokemon(I play with the DSless, I am Wifiless) Metroid can only be suggested if the controlls are not annoying or the Zapper makes it easier.(I sucked at Metroid Prime) No Mario and Sonic @ tOG unless someone says it's not an upgrade of Wii Sports with more games and characters.

-DS games
I have-Pokemon D & P, FFIII, Mario Kart, Zelda PH, YGO NT, Nintendogs Douschound, Custom Robo Arena
Nothing that is on a current console(Eg: Simpsons, MySims)
Nothing stupid and gimmicky, eg: Drawn to Life.
No Generics.

Um, that enough info for what I am looking for? :P

For the PS3

Ninja gaiden sigma(technically doesnt meet the length requirement, but with the multiple difficulties it will last you longer than that. Even the first time through on normal is tough) and...ok i'm out

Uncharted: Drake's Forutne got a lot of really good ratings. It looks like it's got a very "Tomb Rader: Legend" feel to it.

I looked at this one quite a bit, I am a fan of Ryu Hyubasa in DoA, plus, Ninja's and gore always are good. I think I'd enjoy it, and as you said, multiple difficulties, and getting everything, ect.

Anyone know how Dynasty Warriors Gundam is?

I'd personally lean toward the wii/DS games. things like mario galaxy, zelda phantom hourglass, dementium, kirby canvas curse and other such games can be vary enjoyable! but there are some good games coming out for the PS3 such as Haze or MGS 4. I guess it's a toss up.

Either one would be a very fun choice! If you've got a nice hi-def setup, defiantly go with the PS3. Games that are out now, and coming out before Christmas that are worth a purchase on the PS3? Plenty! Eye of Judgment, if you like card games. Uncharted: Drake's Fourtune, Heavenly Sword, PAIN! (via PlayStation Network), and Ratchet and Clank: Future, as you've already mentioned.

And I know you said no to FPS games...but the Orange Box is always a winner. 3 great games for the price of one, how can that be passed up?

Well, 'cause I got a year interest free to pay it off, I decided on a PS3, got Ratchet and Clank/Love it/, Ninja Gaiden Sigma/Even on easy, this is damn hard for me/ and Dynasty Warriors Gundam/Same appeal as Transformers games, it's kinda fun/

Because of the way I am getting it, I can still get a few, probably 4, games for any of the three consoles.

I think that has something to do with it's a button basher, I guess it's the same appeal as TF The Game, the fact you play as a gundam makes it fun. *shrugs*

I got given PH as an Xmas presant, not gonna say that isn't fun, but with Mario and Kirby, I don't see the appeal. :/ Might be something wrong with me.

How long are Heavenly Sword and Uncharted, or to be more precise, how hard? I have read good things about both, but only about 8 hours, Mmm.

Anyone know how Folklore is? It looks good and has decent reviews...

Heavenly Sword isn't a very long game, but as I may have mentioned, if it were any longer it would get old. It's a great story, decent gameplay, beautiful graphics. It can possibly be completed in anywhere from 6-8 hours. It's not a terribly difficult game, but there is an unlockable "hell" mode.

But totally worth it!

Uncharted takes alot longer to beat, if you want to collect all the hidden artifacts and do a bit more exploring. Anywhere from 8-10 hours. It has several difficulity settings, and the enemy AI is quite crafty on even normal setting. I would highly...HIGHLY recommend Uncharted.

Folklore is an action RPG...think something along the line of Kingdom Hearts with a crime-drama story that'll pull you in and keeping you guessing at every turn. One of my favorite story's from an RPG in awhile, actually! Not the most impressive game with it's visuals, but the gameplay is varied enough to keep it fun. And the boss battles are great fun too!

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of those three titles.
