"Cant download theme, status code 80070005"

Does any one know what this means? Has any one else gotten this? One of my themes wouldn't show up on my list so i tried to download it again and this is what i get. The theme use to work but all of a sudden it stopped. It still shows up in my memory but it wont work. Any suggestions?

I've had that pop up a few times now. I waited a few hours and it worked then, I'm not sure if it was a problem with my connection or a problem with live being down.

I had problems with Live last night. First I couldn't connect to the internet at all. Then when I signed in, it took a long time and when I finally got into a game of CoD4, I spent half of it waiting in the "Setting Up Game..." screen. Then I couldn't sign in at all! Premium service my ass!

I wonder if the new update had anything to do with it. I didn't have any problems connecting, but I wasn't downloading anything or trying to play any games over live.

I've been having this problem for almost 4 months now and on different 360s.

You might just want to contact Microsoft about it.

I did. They didnt help. They gave me the same generic answers that didnt even deal with this problem.

Check your hard drive under the final blade. Make sure there are no corrupt or incomplete files indicated by a caution sign. If there are, delete them.

Are you able to connect to Live at all now? You might want reboot your modem, and router if you have one.

No incomplete or corrupted files. And my live is working fine. Ive downloaded other stuff no problem and i can play online with out trouble. Its only this one theme i cant get to work. It worked fine but then when my xbox got the red ring of death and i got a new one it stopped working. Its the only thing that wont work. Ive even tried to download it on my friends 360 and it still wouldn't work.

What theme are you trying to download? I could check it on mine, I've been looking to get a new theme.

Its under Team DZN. And its the Metal Battalion Maiden Pinups theme. Be warned though it may not work for you either. I got it when it first came out and it was fine but a few months ago it just stopped showing up on my themes list and now i cant redownload it. It shows up on my hard drive but not on my themes list. If the same thing happens to you then ill know its live. But if it works for you then theres some thing wrong with my 360.

It worked for me. I would try talking with Microsoft again.
