A franchise game is a Game that is based on a franchise, such as a TV show, a comic, or a Movie!
OK we all know the mostly craptastic franchise Games.
They have been rushed, so they can be realeased on time with the movie or show they're based on.
But some of them a real gems, and those are the ones we're going to list.
So which franchise games do you actually like?
I think these are awesome:
Peter Jacksons King Kong, the only gripe with this is, it's far too short.
Transformers Armada, awesome.
X-Men Legends II rise of Apocalypse, pure awesomeness.
Predator Concrete jungle, you are a Pred, you have his weapons, need I say more?
Spider-Man for the PS1, lots of characters, nice graphics (for that time) a nice Story, far better then what has come from Spidey lately.
I can't think of more I have and liked.

I think he means games based on a comic, movie, or TV show.
So Max Payne and Need for Speed don't count.
Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
Ultimate Spider-Man
The Punisher
Huh...ever wonder why Marvel has much better games than DC?

Better characters maybe?
I have U SM, it's fun the first time you play it, but does not have that, wow I must finish all the extras, I mean you can finally play Venom and what can you do? Venom races and rampaging.

TF: The Movie for DS was really fun. unlike the console versions, you can transform at any time AND play every character on every level. too bad you have to decide between autobots and decepticons, though.

You CAN do that in the console versions. Where did you hear that you couldn't.

i heard you couldn't transform while in the air, like jumping of a building or mid-flight.

Return of the King was pretty sweet in its time. I'm also a fan of the Buffy games. Well, the XBOX/PS2 ones at least.

Is that based of a TV show/Comic or movie?

No, it isn't. I suggest changing the title to "OK, let's list the good Movie/Comic/TV show Games." To avoid confusion.

I think Zombie Lawyer Team is a good game. It will soon be a movie! ROFLCOPTER!

If it would be just a carbon copy of Harvery Birdman and Phoenix Wright, it would be done!

Hmm, ok...
Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage, Super Nes/Genesis. Yeah, it's kind of a shallow beat 'em up, but it's pretty fast and fun. It also has a lot of fun "summons", and it's the only video-game appearance of several characters like Carrion, Shriek, Demogoblin, and Doppleganger. The red cartridge is cool too.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time, Super Nes: Unquestionably the best Turtles game ever. Great graphics, animation, sound, music, control, tons of fun too. Lots of bosses, and from what I've read, even better than the arcade version.
Jurrassic Park, Super Nes. Maybe I'm biased cause I loved JP as a kid, but this is a cool game. It's a top-down adventure game, and even has 3D first person enviroments when you go inside a building. Pretty cool music, good graphics, lots of dinosaurs, lots of places to explore. It even has Super Nes mouse support. When I was a kid, I was practically scared to death every time I entered a T-Rex area, cause the music would suddenly change to a very fast beat, and it got my heart pumping. The only down-side is that there is no save/password feature, and the game is quite big, and can get very confusing if you don't have a guide(which is why I've never beaten the game). Reminder: This is for the SUPER NINTENDO VERSION, NOT the Genesis version, which really is pretty crappy.
X-Men, Super Nes: If I remember right, not quite as cool as the Genesis games(dont' have either though), but still really good. Fighting-game style controls for special moves, pretty good list of villians, great graphics, pretty fun overall. The only downside is that there are only five X-Men to choose from. The psuedo sequal, "War of the Gems", is not as good, and is pretty boring.
Spider-Man, PS1. Already stated, but oh well. The "What-if" mode is plenty fun too, good voice-acting, lots of cameos.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Dreamcast. Probably my favorite fighting game of all time. 56 characters(28 Marvel), super-flashy, fast paced, easy super-moves, and lots of fun animations and music.
That's all I can think of right now that hasn't been mentioned yet.
