Do you think that Transformers the game is better on the DS or PSP than the Console versions? (PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii)

I think the DS made quite a difference but still there was all the repetetive missions, short storyline, fun GTA style gameplay, and G1 Starscream but it was missing the really destructive enviornments and in the DS versions your blasters actually damage something :D plus there were some characters not in the console versions like ratchet, brawl, and skydive which appears as a repaint of starscream in the autobots version.

I don't know much but i think its a bunch of crap they split the console version into "autobots" and "decepticons" on DS. Thats just poor developing if you ask me. The DS cartridge can hold twice as much data as a N64 cartridge, and we are talking about a game that isn't that complex to begin with. It was either lazy developing, or a "Rip the fans off for an extra $30" decision.

I do hope that someday TF gets its long overdue good video game!

The Armada Game, that meant nothing to you?

I've played the PSP version only so far. It was good. I enjoyed it, despite the length. (I bought it at about 4PM, I beat it at midnight the same day) I would definitely like to try any of the console versions. Yeah, it may be simplistic, but if it's as Hulk: Ultimate Destruction-esque as I think it is, I should enjoy it. (Coming from the guy who played through "Enter the Matrix"...several times)

I didn't get a PS2 of my own untill I inherited one this year from marrying a girl. prior to that one of my previous roommates had one, and I rented the Armada game to play on it when it came out, in like 2004 I think. I wasn't too impressed really. It was cool until you get over the transforming gimmick and realize your just fighting the same bad guys again and again, on dull and unimaginative landscapes with no storyline what-so-ever. So no I guess I don't like the Armada game. It bored me. While I understand why its considered the best TF game ever made, I really consider it to be the most decent one out of all of the horrid games they've made.

BTW speaking of the Armada game, me owning an Xbox and gamecube at that time, it was stupid for the company to only choose PS2 to make the game for. I might have given it more of a chance if i could of played it on the consoles i owned!

Not really. The PS2 was a lot of developers' console of choice. Probably the same reason they decided not to release MGS3 (Both versions!) on any other console. (Despite doing the same with MGS1 and MGS2) And why Final Fantasy games (Except for 6 and everything before it) are Sony Exclusive.

Yeah, FF13 went back to being exclusive.

I have it for DS and Wii, soon PSP.

Let me say DS<Wii.
Although the handheld let you create a TF, it is simple, repetetive gameplay. Allspark Wars save it though, lots of interactivity there.
But the console just beat it out with story and fun-ness.
