Are you already yfve it? Whether you are going to buy it? Whether it is necessary to change the TV (at me very old years ten)? I heard there there are no interesting games … or I am mistaken? I am going to buy it, in my opinion it is better then X-box360.

Not going to buy it.
My Wii is fun now. My $350 savings is fun now.
PS3 might be fun...later.

Yup to Punches comments...Minus the Wii since I can't find one. And don't want one until the new Paper Mario comes out.

There really is no reason for me to pick up a PS3. All the games I would buy a PS3 for are jumping ship to do a dual release on the 360 anyway.
Gundam, Armored Core, GTA, isn't there a Akira Toriyama/Final Fantasy game being put in the works for the 360 as well?
No reason to get a PS3.

If you've got the money to spend on one, get it. Think of it as a nicer, slightly more powerful 360 that you don't need to buy any add-ons for. Oh...and it has a free online service that's always growing and improving. It also has a built in web browser.
As for good games (multi-platform or not), there's Motorstorm, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Resistance: Fall of Man, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Call of Duty 3, EA Sports Fight Night....
Or you could do like I did and buy a PS3 and a WII.

So....Pay $600 for a web browser and two exclusive titles...And a blu ray player I won't ever use.

Given that I grew bored of my PS2 fairly quickly and even more bored of my 360 even quicker, I think I'll pass and stick with Nintendo for the time being.

I played on the ps3 some time ago. It sure is shiney (and therefore incredibly quick to collect dust ) and it has some fun things like 'Flow' and all. But the only reason why I would want to buy it is Virtual fighter 5. But suprise suprise, if I wait like 3 months it will get released for the 360 as well!
Guess there really isn't any reason at all to spend 600euries then eh? Nope.
Move along folks, nothing to see here

Like your actually saving anything by getting a 360? Add up all the money you've spent keepin Live updated, plus the system and all its add-ons and you've already spent well over 600....

First for me is not present so much money, second Wii at my country precisely not appear, thirdly there are such games as Shin Megami Tansai or other games which were an exclusive for Sony.

How?
Premium 360: $400
Live Gold: $50
Logitech Link Play: $15
And...That's it. The system works and I can play games online through wireless. $465 is still less than the cheaper PS3. As I said, blu ray is useless to me and so is HD-DVD. I have no need for either so there would be no reason for me to buy it or pay the extra money to have a system with it included.

PS3 has two exclusive titles that I want.
360 has two, and is probably going to get new KotOR and Jedi Knight games as well.
Wii has four.
What can I say? Nintendo Fanboy Forever.

With my first paycheck (woot!), I have enough for a 360 now, and I still want to get a Wii. I don't think I can save $500-$600 for a PS3. I might end up blowing the money on more TFs

The PS3 got some good features, I don't like to buy it, but I'm affraid, the only strategie she got if I will buy them ever are the hole titles from the Guilty Gear games and other 2D Beat em ups like King of Fighters series and Samurai Showdown.

Actually, 360 is getting a different Gundam game, which is good, because I hear the one that just came out for PS3 sucked.
Akira Toriyama/Final Fantasy? Don't even joke, that makes me think there's going to be another Chrono Trigger.
I don't want that kind of disappointment!

Well it could explain why they threatened to sue a person a few years back for making his own 3D Chrono Trigger. Hmm.

I was wondering what happened to that.
It looked so cool!

One thing I was wondering about the PS3....can you play imported PS2 games without modifying it? Actually a fairly big selling point to me, because I would want to have something to play Transformers Tatakai on, & if it dosen't I'd also have to get a PS2 & modify that...& guess which one I'd be more likely to do, given the price of the PS3?

Yeah, the Gundam game for the PS3 looked horrible, and is horrible. The water is apparently more like a gelatinous mass that goes through the ground when you go into it. Controls are wonky, and it's just plain out bad.
The Gundam game for the 360, Mobile Ops: The One Year War, looks freakin' awesome, plus they've stalled the release for a long ass time, so hopefully they're making it even better than it looks.
Also
Blue Dragon is the game I'm talking about. It looks awesome so far.

It's region-locked, so no, you can't. Not to mention I haven't heard any word on PS3 ModChips.
But to play even American PS2 games, you have to buy the $600 dollar version, unless you don't mind starting from scratch every time you play.

Well, I believe you just convinced me. Looks like I'm gonna have more money to spend on Wii & 360 games......unless the letters F, F, V, I, & I happen to show up in realtion to a PS3 remake.
