Question about 360 X-plorer controller

Does anybody know if the Xplorer can be used on the PS2 Guitar Hero games? I know you can use it on the PC, but I was just wondering before I even remotely considered investing in another guitar just for my PS2. If it is...no worries about new guitar, & I can get straight to the games.

I'll have to go out on a limb and say no. I doubt Microsoft would allow something like that to be used on a Sony console.

I though that would be Red Octane's call. Anywho, I've been skowering the net trying to find out anything, but all I've found is people asking about the compatibility of Guitar Hero & Rock Band controllers, & PS2/PS3 compatibility....hell, even saw a couple of PS2-PC via adapter questions, but no 360-PS2.
Oh well, If I don't hear from somebody that's tried it before the end of the week, I'm gonna go ahead & make plans to get GH1, & if it dosen't work, I figure I'll either get a cheap PS2 axe or just import it all to Frets on Fire.
