What do you mean by spread shot? Because that describes almost all weapons in everything ever.

Angry mobs, complete with burning and looting and rioting. And if you upgrade them there are <sales voice>AK-47's for EVERYONE!</sales voice>.

Or poison tractors.

Or a scud storm, complete with toxic chemicals.

Guess what army I play in C&C: Generals.

A Squiggoth is another fun weapon. Nothing shows love quite like a giant dinosaur/mushroom crossbreed.

The pokeball.

A tiny ball, that has the power to unleash untold destruction by releasing creatures like Charizard, Gyarados, Mewtwo.

Not to mention, this tiny ball has the power to capture things and instantly make them your personal servant for the use of battling whomever you wish.

Girlfriend pissing you off? Pokeball go! -thunk thunk thunk- Congratulations Super Bitch was caught! Super Bitch's data added to the pokedex!

Boss giving you trouble? Fire Monkey, I choose you!

The pokeballs are evil.

I personally prefer the Redeemer from Unreal Tournament. Dude, it's a freaking nuke that you can steer around the map.

I agree. Pokeball FTW!
And to think, I was gonna say Link's Spin Attack.

If you could capture women in a pokeball, it would bring new meaning to "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" Pokeball, GO! :wobble: :wobble: .... :wobble: :chime!: Crabs was caught. Crabs was added to STD-dex.

Someone made something like that for Garry's Mod. It's called the Redeemer, it fires a game-lagging nuke, but you can't steer it. (Strange, considering you can steer normal rockets)

Oh God...I remember making that joke in middle school. STDs: Gotta Catch 'em All!

Holy crap Shadow. You're making even me feel old. You never experienced the original Redeemer? As in you never played the original Unreal Tournament?

Naw, I've never been much of a multiplayer guy. When I get a 360 this summer, I'm definitely going to drop the $50 for a year of Xbox Live Gold, though, so I can play Halo 3 with Tweezy.

I played Unreal Championship II on Xbox though. That was awesome.

Tweezy really needs to switch over to COD4. And you need to be the one to influence him to do so.

I have one reason not to: Grifball League Sponsored by Shisno Energy Drinks in Association with Smoal Enterprises.

The GLSbSEDiAwSE is the Wave of the Future. Today.

A PTRS 14.5mm anti-tank rifle placed on a BMW-r75 motorcycle sidecar officially making it a quick but outrageously vulnerable tank killer. Panzers, Panthers, Tigers, Shermans, StuGs, Ferdinands beware the power of tactical improvisation in Soldiers: Heroes of World War II.

Ah you have been deprived then. Unreal Tournament (The original, not any of it's "Sequels") was the BEST.

My best Redeemer debacle was when a friend and I were playing against each other with Bot support. We both fired off Redeemers and piloted them right into each other....

It was at that moment that I finally realised that the only thing better then a redeemer going off was TWO redeemers going off. In the middle of the map. In the middle of a pitched battle with both teams. Who get blown up.

Even if you prefer single player formats UT can still be fun and challenging even without fellow human players thanks to the bots. They can be a bit stupid at times admittedly but they're fairly solid given the status of bot technology at the time.

As for the best weapon ever? :-?

Double Barrel Shotgun from Doom 2.

No shotgun since has been able to completely slaughter a room full of people in one shot with neither a matching carnage rate or the satisfying "BOOOM!" **shlick shlock shlack!** reload that gun had. Firing that weapon wasn't just great fun, it was gratifying at every level. Here was a weapon that sung the song of death so sweetly that you just wanted to keep firing the thing and never, ever stop.

The Farsight x-20 from Perfect Dark is the one I used to terrorize my roomates with.

My vote for best might go to the Hammer of Dawn. Taking down a Berserker with that thing was freakin' sweet.

I can't narrow it down to just one, so here's my list:

Electro Bolt and Enrage Plasmids and the Chemical Thrower (BioShock)

Hammer of Dawn (Gears of War)

Metal Blade (MegaMan 2)

Spas 12 Shotgun and AK47 (GTA: San Andreas)

Tickle Stick (Rumble Roses)

Lightsaber and Unlimited Ammo Uzi (Silent Hill 3)

...and many, many more!
