Hi there,

I've been working on a web based multiplayer G1 game. The interface/gameplay is similar to Urban Dead and other such web page based games. Users get to log in as classic Decepticon or Autobot characters, move around, fight, communicate, steal energy, etc..

It is a work in progress, but pretty functional at the moment. If anyone is interested in helping out with some play testing that would be cool.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the responses--I'm happy that you're willing to have a look at my little old game.

I've sent a PM to each of the responders so far with the link. At the moment I'm gonna hold off on posting the link in a public fashion as the game isn't quite ready for prime time.

Thanks again for your time--lemme know if you think the game could be turned into something fun.

Thanks for the link, but I kept getting booted out. It's most likely my computer(it happens) but anyhow, thinks, it seems like a nice rollplay set up.

Not sure why it would be booting ya.. maybe I need to tweak the permissions settings on the web folders or something. I'll see if it boots me from my computer at work tomorrow.

Found a bug.

If you keep attacking a target and force its defenses into negative numbers the game breaks with the following output:

Yeah that happened to me when I accidentally over-destroyed the Autobot Ark.

Cool--thanks to Tekka and Omega Charge for pointing out this bug. It took me a while, but I found the culprit in the code. The code was zeroing the defense value in the database, but not the value in ram. Now when you totally destroy defenses, the defenses disappear as a target (and you can enter the structure!).

I also noticed an issue where it is possible to attack defenses while flying at high altitude--that strikes me as unfair.

I'm gonna send out some more PMs to the folks who recently replied--let me know if I miss anyone. If enough people are testing, there may very well be opponents in the game to fight!

Can I test it? The only G1 web game I ever played was a Japanese one in which you play as Chibi-mus Prime shoot Starsqueak and Minitron. Pleeease?

Sure--we're at the 'more the merrier' stage. Check your pms for the info.

If you're in as an Autobot, it is a good idea to check for Decepticon activity with Teletraan 1. It will let you know if any Decepticons are active in the game.

The most recent addition to the game is now the base computers are valid targets for attacks... so I guess I should make them repairable too! hehe. Again, suggestions are most welcome. I've been considering adding in some AI drones--human tanks, fighter planes, oil tankers, etc.
