I thought it seemed a bit too early for this thread. I'm not going to pick up Mario Kart immediately, at least not for a few months. I didn't even pick up doubledash until only 7 months ago.

I don't think I'll be getting Mario Kart immediately either. I'll be busy for a while playing GTA4.

The only is pretty damn busy. I've had no troubles finding at least 7 opponents thus far. And boy does this game kick ass.

If you can help it, I recommend not waiting to get it. Really.

Munkimus, I highly recommend you and Tek get together for some game. You're a lot more matched (not to toot my own horn :whistle: )


Question- do all Miis use karts from the heavy kart/bike set? Or does it depend on the proportions of your Mii?

I am stuck on the 150cc Star Cup. I've been trying for two days and I just cannot get better than third place.

But seriously, all of you playing Kart...you're able to play people in other countries with no lag?

I've played about 10 hours of online races against people from Japan and Europe, and have had absolutely no lag.

Smooth as fresh milk.

I'll be on MK now for most of the night, if anyone fancies me lapping them again

I'm gonna try and get online tomorrow night soon as I work out which wire goes where

I used to really suck at Mario Kart on every other console but the Wii makes me feel quite good.... that could change online.

I'm aiming to get stars in every course now, to add them next to my name in the leagues.

150cc is so unforgiving... I have everything in Gold now except for the Special Cup and the Leaf Cup...

The Leaf Cup has awfully simple tracks but the opponents are so unforgiving.

One shell in the back and I'm relegated from 1st to 10th, and when I do manage to claw my way back up the same thing happens. Even clipping a wall slightly will cost me a good four places. =(

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
