Hey. Has anyone played the new GTA?? Is it living up to all the hype? Is it a good idea to buy it now or should I wait and get it when its resold and save some money?

Supposedly it is the best game ever, and has already broken many records.
Me, I can't get it till my brother finishes his exams, as it would distract him from revision. God knows COD4 takes up half his life as it is. Just out of interest, PS3 or Xbox 360? I am a PS3 man myself.
