Bullshit.

I got the red ring of death on my 360.

I don't know what happened. I just turned on the 360 about to play Halo 3, it froze, I turned it off then on again, and it again froze.

The third time I restarted it the red rings started blinking, mocking my sorry ass.

So I don't know what to do now. I tried turning it on again, it actually worked, bu tthen froze. Any advice?

I used to have my friend's old broken one. I looked into making a warrenty claim on it and found that even if the warrenty is expired, they'll cover Red Ring of Death for up to 3 years so you should be all good. There website is complicated though.

Tell them you got the 3 red lights error. They'll walk you through some mundane steps and then send you a box. Just throw the system in there (without the HDD) and send it to them through UPS. All postage is covered. Wait 10 days and you'll have it back.

Ok, so I took the disk out, turned the 360 off, put it ack in, turned it on, and it works!

What happened? Did it get overheated or something? I never turn my 360 off, so maybe that's the case...?
