if anybody has experiance setting up an R4 for DSlite... please.. help?...

ive formatted the 2gb micro SD to FAT32 and added the four items that are needed.. but when i plug it into the R4 card and turn it on... it just sits on the "loading..." screen...

as if that wasnt a big enough headache.. occassionally itll work but then come up with an error on the touchscreen saying something along the lines of the moonshl folder was deleted or moved... then all itll do is play music or videos... nothing else..

seriously.. ive been trying to get this working for so long now its stopped making sense!! :s

if anyone can help itd be greatly appreciated!!

nice one dude, i appreciate your help so far... im seeing a friend of mine later on whos got one... so if we get the thing working ill let you know.. if not ill watch this space :)

*EDIT*

ok... ive reached a point now... some homebrew programs and things are installed... still comes up with the above error upon boot up... but whenever i try and run a program it comes up with...

"file information

not support adapter?"

which is both odd grammar... and confusing.. any ideas folks?..

The moonshell "error" is just normal, it always has that up while its loading.

Are you only using files ending with .nds, cause older cards use something like .gba.nds, if a homebrew has more than one file, just use the .nds one, plus any that end in things like .bin or .txt.

And you don't need to use moonshell to boot homebrew or apps or what ever, just start up the DS, click on game and then scroll to what you want to open, then use the "A" button to start it, or touch the panel, and if its the first time you've started the app it will bring up a box saying there is no .SAV file for the game, and would you like to create it, touch yes (thats what keeps all the save data for that app, it is needed if you want to keep you progress) and your app should load.

I have the R4 for my nintendo ds. I only was able to figure out how to use it to listen to music and look at pictures. I need some help to figure out how to obtain the correct video format to watch movies.
