Halo 3: RECON!

* All-new campaign content: The Halo 3: Recon campaign is an intriguing side story that takes place during the terrifying events leading up to the Master Chief’s return to New Mombasa in Halo 3. Experience the fate of Earth from the brand-new perspective of a special forces ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper), adding a unique outlook and new gameplay elements to the events that unfold in the trilogy’s finale. I saw the video the night it came out, didn't post it due to having to be up early.
But it is awesome as hell. Hopefully it can add new maps to Halo 3 and vice versa, get new downloadable content for both games and the like. I'd love to be able to be an ODST in Halo 3(not just a Spartan with an ODST helm mind you.)
Although I thought Bungie said that the story of the Halos was done, but Master Chief may show up in a game focusing on him?

They said there would be no more Halo games released. If the game takes place on Earth, there are no Halo's. Sneaky SOB's.

Yeah, but didn't Lucas also say that there would be no new star wars movies? Let's face it I don't care if bungie goes back on their statement, as so long as they can keep making great games. If the quality is good, I think fans won't mind a continuation of MC's saga, especially after the Cliffhanger in Halo 3.

eh... I just hope it's just as fun. I still prefer playing a spartan to normal human.

You know, thinking about this game and the possibilites makes me even more excited.
Just think of a new Roosterteeth series using this game.

No. That's the name of the video. Bungie always names their vid docs and trailers with odd titles.

Awesome, now, I wonder if it will have enough stuff to warrant a full $60 price tag, or if it will be lower than that.

I think this is just an expansion. It looks like you get new everything. New campaign maps, new multiplayer maps, and new weapons according to what we've seen so far. You know what would be great? If Recon was more like COD4. You have classes and can pick what weapons you have from the start rather than rushing to/camping 1 spot, just to get the 1 super weapon on the map. And mod them to your liking. Perks! Oh how often I've wished the radar in Halo was more like the radar in COD4!
But the real question is, if you complete Halo 3:Recon, do you get the recon armor? Cause I thought that was quite stupid, having a armor type only Bungie has. And only way you can get is by doing something cool and original. Well certainly I should have got it cause I created Rocket Race. I thought it sucked cause only me and my friend were playing. If I had know it would catch on so well...
