That KOTOR MMO has finally be confirmed, taking place after the KOTOR games.

The Sith Return once again but this time in mass (Ancient Sith Empire) and beat the Republic in to the ground. Now the Republic and Jedi have to fight abck. This is where the game begins.

The game is centered around story, so you're havign your own personal story much like the characters of the movies, and it seems the KOTOR action/consequences system will be added in to allow people to switch between Dark and Ligth sides. You can join either side as a good or bad guy and have your own personal story. I have no doubt PvP will be present in the game. Seriously, of there is any game that has potential to dethrone WoW, it's this. Maybe the weak-willed few that remained behind in SWG will have an actual reason to quit SWG now.

I'm just hoping the Devs implament a ton of sercets for players to find.

For worlds, thus far the concept art tells us Korriban will be in the game. I would imagine Dantooine, Yavin, and Tattooine will be in as well. I would love to see Coruscant done in a way similar to Taris.

The game is currently in early stages of development so no release date and no beta date announced. I would imagine it will be another two or three years before we see this.

I thought Bioware confirmed this a couple months ago.

Edit: I forgot to mentioned how badass this is going to be.

I hope Bioware stomps all over SOE's "star wars" mmo, City of Heroes/Villains, and WoW.

Gamespot has more info.

Launching worlds seem to include Coruscant, Korriban, Tython, Dathomir, Manaan, Agamar, Alderaan, and Utapau. I would imagine the worlds will start small and expand with content as the updates progressed.

You don't have to be a Jedi or Sith in the game.

Makes you wish they didn't **** up the series already.
Star wars is pretty much dead to me.

I wish they'd cut to the chase and tell us aobut HK-47. If Bioware jst tells the fans a little aobut him, they should love it.

I'm sure he'll show. Heck they got him in SWG's.

Explanation: Revan built him to hunt down and destroy any being that would bring harm to the Galaxy as a whole, because Revan was too badass to notice that he was a bad guy doing an inherently good thing.

Observation: This game is going to kick ASS. Statement: I'm not even an MMO fan, I am actually going to play this.

Aside: Meatbags.

If this is as good as the KOTOR games this will be the first MMO I'd pay a monthly fee for.

"More content than every Bioware game, put together"?

That's a helluva lot. You can play KotOR all the way through and still not see half the content. And then there's Mass Effect, Jade Empire, Sonic Chronicles, Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. Helluva lot of content.

Just out of curiosity, how will they balance this? I mean, In SW lore, the Jedi have been always capable of godly powerful moves, and if the game was true to it's source material, non-force users would get pissed. But if you balance it, people will get super-pissy about it not staying true to the source material. Remove jedi or non jedi, and people will get even angrier.

Also, I wonder what races will be available for characters.

Not quite; Jango and Boba Fett have held their own against Jedi and Sith quite comfortably; Grievous lacked Force powers, but was still able to trounce almost any Jedi that came his way; and during the Jedi Purge, almost every Jedi was killed by a Clone Trooper.

So classes like Bounty Hunter and Assasin Droid (Like HK-47) should be able to hold their own against Jedi and Sith.

Yeah in the comic series, Jango Fett: Open Seasons, Jango killed around six or so jedi with his bare hands. And guys like Candourous in KotOR were able to hold their own in jedi fights if given the right gear. There are plenty of loopholes to be found to even the odds. Besides, it Bioware.

Yeah, I'm not normally one for MMORPG's, but if Bioware makes it, then I'm in.

Jango was able to hold off Obi-Wan pretty easily, so that's gotta count for something. He also fought Komari Vosa, a Dark Jedi trained by Count Dooku.
