I don't know about anyone else, but I've totally fallen in love with this game (Fallout 3). I think Bethesda has done an outstanding job making this title for the next-gen consoles, having taken great care to preserve - and even expand - the universe from Fallout 1 and 2.

I love it so much, I even cranked out some fan art the other day. :)

I present to you Sydney Morgan, my player character throughout the series, as she would appear in the Fallout universe - a Brotherhood of Steel Paladin. Enjoy!

How are you guys handling the game? I've been really trying to be evil, but it's actually been pretty difficult. Well, I mean it wouldn't be, but I don't like being evil just to be evil... chalk it up to the role player in me. I like to be evil when there is motive and when it makes sense... Sure, I could have wiped Megaton off the face of the Earth, but... where would I get to store all my neat gadgets and junk? And I sure do love having my own British server-droid... :>

Ah well, at least I'll have the karma requirement to recruit a Brotherhood of Steel member into my party when I get to that point, at least. :)

Awesome drawing!

I've been a player of bethesda's other role playing games like Morrowind and Oblivion. Those are currently my favorite all time games. Unfortunately, these kinds of games are take-over-my-life-time-sinks, which is why I haven't started playing Fallout 3 yet.

Eventually, I will make some time and play fallout 3. It looks amazing and perhaps it can prepare us all for the apocalypse in 2012. :P

You get a house somewhere else for blowing up megaton, so you're good for storage either way.

and yes the game is all sorts of awesome so far. I'm only about half way through the main quest but I'm almost level 20. There's still a lot I haven't done or seen yet either.

My fav thing to do right now is to where Lincoln's hat, use Lincoln's repeater, wear some power armor and go raider/mutie huntin.

Eh

It's just like Oblivion and all the Elder Scrolls games.

It's good, but not great.

The environments are nice, the game does have a nice irony and humor about it.

But like I said, it's good, but not great.

Never played Oblivion or Elder, but I guess you could argue that the structure of either game is similar to Fallout - especially being that they are made by the same people - but the atmosphere, characters, and feeling I would have to say are very different. In any event, I am still very much enjoying the hell out of this game. :>

I had it for about 3 days. Returned it and picked up Gears 2. The game is just too big for me to be honest. I have this compulsion to finish everything I start completely. So I knew it wouldn't be a good idea for me to keep it. That and I can't wrap my brain around games that big.

Played it on the PS3 at a friends place, had a fun time playing on an alternate save and going on Raider and Mutant hunts, and generally being bad when on his real save he has been a damn goody two shoes.
