Final Fantasy VI: Fan Dub Auditions

I saw a fan dub of FF6 on you tube the other day, and it was pure crap! The Voices were terrible and the actors couldn't act. So being the genius that I am I decided to team up with my cousin Warrior of the Lost World (from the new party forum) and make our own dub of that game and do it justice. We will be holding Auditions for most of the characters in the near future. Since it is our project Lost World and I have already claimed some roles.

Edgar, Siegfried, Atma- Autobot420
Sabin, Cyan, Traveling Merchant- Warrior of the Lost World

The rest of the characters will be cast with open auditions. Basically our only requirements are the ability to act and to stick to the criteria for a character. For example if a character calls for a deep monster like voice don't turn in a Jamaican accent.

Main characters
Locke Cole :young adventurous type of male voice(maybe with a subtle English accent)

Terra Branford): Beautiful and mysterious female voice, but at the same time very innocent.

Shadow: He's a ninja. Make him sound like bad-ass.

Mog: Mog is a cute little bugger with an attitude. male or female voice actors for this role are welcome

Celes Chere: Strong yet beautiful female voice. (the ability to sing is a biggie here)

Gau: have him sound like a mellow version of gir from invader zim.

Strago Magus: wise old man voice.

Relm Arrowny: cute and spunky little girl, think Sari from TFA

Setzer Gabbiani- Dark yet suave male voice. Like James Bond mixed with Solid Snake

Kefka Palazzo- Male voice, Heath Ledger's joker impressions welcome and encouraged.

Major supporting characters

Bannon: strong older male voice (accents welcome)

General Leo: Strong deep male honorable warrior type voice

The Emperor: old but authoritative male voice. (accents welcome)

Gogo: mysterious and androgynous male or feamle voice.

Umaro: Deep grunts and growls he's a yeti after all.

Cid: intelligent and fatherly type voice. (accents welcome)

Arvis: kind and helpful old man voice (accents welcome)

Biggs: Brash, cocky, Mr. know-it-all type voice (accents welcome)

Wedge: Tough military type male voice

Ultros- smart-ass male voice

Maduin- Wise and powerful male voice.

other supporting characters

the Impresario: posh English, French, or Italian accent, male voice

Duane: young male voice (accents welcome)

Katarin: young female voice (accents welcome)

Madonna: female voice (accents welcome)

Darill: cocky and adventurous female voice

The Crimson robbers: three male voices needed (accents welcome)

Vargas: strong, argent, bullyish male voice(accents welcome)

Ramuh: wise old man voice (accents welcome)

Yura: strong yet soft male voice

Owzer: eccentric male voice

Lola: Beautiful, yet sad female voice

Duncan: strong and friendly old man voice like a non-Japanese Mr Miyagi(maybe Russian)

Lone Wolf: slick male voice

Shiva: cold and mysterious female voice

Ifrit: monstrous, bestial male voice

Elayne and Owain: Cyans wife and child. Cyan will have a Spanish accent so it's best they should to.

Rachel: female voice (accents welcome)

Crazy old man on the veld: crazy old man voice

There are also plenty of extra roles such as various town folk and imperial solders.

Post some lines per character (it's my favorite in the series but I can't for the life of me remember everyone's lines). Oh and how would we do the auditioning thing? Record a soundbyte and upload it to Rapidshit? I don't think my sound capture software is that good (or existant) you got any free programs that work well?

We don't care what lines you use just so long as we like your voice. Find some of the game on you tube and get them from there if you want. As for how just record it using some audio recording program and e-mail the file to ether Autobot_420@hotmail.com or airman424@yahoo.com mp3 or wave files welcome

You've already heard my Ifrit. Still, I'm going to try out for someone else, because I'd like to have more than twenty seconds of dialogue.

come on people I know there has to be more people interested in this. Send as many auditions as you like, give a character a shot even if you don't think you will land it, you never know you just might.

I was just wondering if this was still happening, or if there are still any open parts? I'd love to lend a voice to this kind of project.
