The Trailer is here.

For the uninformed:

Black Mesa: Source is a fan-made recreation of the original Half-Life, built from the ground up with all the little bells and whistles the Source Engine and Havok Physics have to offer, including new textures, models, animations and sound.

This has been in development hell for some time, but the developers have announced that "It's days in development are numbered."

I seriously cannot wait for this to come out.

It might be. I dunno. But I'm definitely going to get it.

Here's the Official Site. For those who wanted to see the official site.

I'd imagine something like this is free. Could they really legally charge for it? The site is blocked for me at work (and my Internet access at home isn't started thanks to a recent move), so I don't know the details that aren't presented here, but if it's a bunch of game fans making the game in their spare time, I don't think they can charge money.

Who says you couldn't before? Get Steam, you can get it off there for $10.

Yes and no: if Valve were to buy the game out (Counter-Strike and Garry's Mod are decent precedent) then it could be sold for a price, with the development team making about half the proceeds. It seems like a rip-off; Garry's Mod made about $3,000,000 since it was adopted by Valve. That's about $1.5 million for Team Garry alone, more than enough to run a game that runs almost entirely on content not of their own. (Either from Valve or user-created)
