Xbox 360 help

I had recently gotten an Xbox 360 for christmas. It's been running great until I purchased Fable 2. For some reason, every 15-20 minutes of playing the game freezes up. It did not cease, so I exchanged it for another copy. I got the same results. All other games work fine. Around one month later I purchased The Orange Box, and a similar problem occured. This time, it only froze 1/3 of the time when it was within 30-40% of loading. After around half-way loading, it never froze. I tried to exchange this game for another copy, but they didn't have any more in stock. So a few days ago I purchased a used copy of The Orange Box at Gamestop. It still has the same problem, and now it freezes in-game. The other games that I got were from Best Buy.

So what's the problem? I think it's my Xbox. Ive had similar problems like this in the past with my PS2, some games it just doesn't want to play. What should I do? I already looked up the Microsoft website, but it didn't help much.

Any suggestions?

:-?

Are you connected to Live? There might be an update required that you can't receive to fix your freezing issue.

Try installing them to the hard drive. I had the same problem with Fable II and this fixed it.

sounds like a firmware problem. Definitely check for system updates.
