Games you want made

I don't care if its based on a book, comic, previous game, movie, etc.

I just know I often sit there and think "Man, (insert title here) would make a killer video game!"

Last night I was watching Robocop 2 and realized we need a new Robocop game. The Robocop games for NES were fun, but really hard. Robocop vs Terminator was awesome. But now I'm ready for an awesome 3D Robocop game. If it had a sandbox style gameplay it'd be even better.

A good remake of Shadowrun. One inspired by the SNES/Genesis storyline and gameplay. That FPS game we got a few years back sucked. It wasn't Shadowrun. To me, a perfect Shadowrun game would be in the Saints Row/GTA style world, but in a dystopian future. You'd play as Joshua and have the opportunity to expand your magic, computer, and fighting skills as you go.

A Savage Dragon game is long over due. In my eyes Dragon is one of the most underrated heroes out there and doesn't get the respect he rightfully deserves. A rated M beat em up game would be awesome :D

Your turn

A Real Chrono Trigger Sequel. Not Chrono Cross, I mean something where Crono is the main character once more. A for-real sequel.

A Captain N game, but with modern, game-accurate versions of the characters, more like Brawl. Also, it would be Kingdom Hearts-styled.

A Castlevania MMO, with a good emphasis on PVP, between Hunters and Vampires. Vampires would have more weapons and abilities, but Hunters would be significantly more powerful and more class based. (Belmont-like Hunter, Yoko Belnades-style Mage, etc.)

A New Warriors game circa the first series. Alas, I'm the only surviving fan after their reality TV fiasco.

A sandbox zombie game. I know Dead Rising came 99% close to this, but I'd like a game where it's on a global scale and you can travel anywhere, it doesn't end, and you just keep improving your character as you go along killing zombies and humans that get in your way. I guess like Kirkman's The Walking Dead as a video game. The challenge is to keep the game interesting while making it not end. I guess it could be a game where you download new missions if you complete the old ones. I dunno, but props to the company that makes this idea work.

I'd love to see a remake of Vice:Project Doom. It was on the NES and was really story driven, which was rare in those days.

You mean like True Crime, Saints Row(1&2) and the GTA games? :P

1. As long as Akira Toriyama is involved in this one, I'll definitely support this.

2. As long as Takeshi Obata is away from further Castlevania projects after what happened with Castlevania Judgment, sure, why not?

This is what I mean:

Misa Amane (left), Maria Renard, as portrayed in Castlevania Judgement (right)

Oh, while I'm at it, I want these games to be made:

--Marvel VS Capcom 3, with emphases on nerfing Cable, Sentinel, Magneto, and Storm

--a mecha strategy game that features Capcom's Cyberbots, Tech Romancer, and Lost Planet mechas, being pit against Takara Tomy's Transformers, Zoids, and mecha from various Tatsunoko mecha anime series (after all, Takara Tomy owns Tatsunoko, the studio that gave the world Speed Racer, Gatchaman, Yatterman, Gold Lightan, to name a few.

--a fighting game rendition of Super Robot Wars by Namco Bandai

The Ultimate Gundam game. It would include Mobile Suits from every UC series, with maybe a few AU MS's thrown in. Plus, they'd all be playable. The MS filling capacity of Dynasty Warriors Gundam. The overall gameplay speed from Neverending tommorrow. The actual gameplay mechanics similar to Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam.

How about a M.A.S.K. game? My brother gave me a burned CD with that theme on it, and I've had the song stuck off and on since then. I've only seen a few episodes, but I had quite a few toys when I was a kid, and it would be a cool game. Hey, maybe they could even make it a Teen rated Car Combat game. I'm not quite sure how it would work, but it could.

Zone of the Enders 3. 'Nuff said.

Robot Alchemic Drive 2. The original RAD is one of the most fun and interesting mech games I've every played. The sequal would have more Meganites, more destruction, the ability to jump attack, faster mechs, and you'd be able to pick things up and use it as a weapon.

A Transformers G1 game. Need I go on?

A game based around Marvel Comics Darkhawk.

Another vote for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

How about a sequal to Toy Commander? The original is pretty cool.

How about a good Godzilla game? Destroy all Monsters Melee was cool, never could find Save the Earth for PS2, only X-box version, but I didnt' have one till now, and I can't find it now either! Unleashed on the PS2 is pretty bad.

Oh, I know what you mean. Castlevania hasn't been great with era-appropriate clothing (Maria would never get away with wearing a short skirt like that in the 18th century) Judgment just took it too far.

One addition to that: Make sure MS capabilities are appropriate. If I'm piloting a Zaku I (Which I never would, but bear with me here) I should not expect to beat the Sazabi.

Don't you realize it's the pilot, not the mobile suit that determines the outcome of a battle! :P I think Char(maybe Amuro?) said something to that extent in the original English dub of the third Gundam movie. Or maybe it was said in another Gundam series. But that is a common theme.

Of course, if we go by Gundam Wing rules, a generic mobile suit can stand toe to toe with a Gundam and survive numerous hits if piloted by an ace.

Not with such a high strength gap. In Gundam 00, Setsuna, an experienced pilot, had trouble contending with a handful of redshirts because his outdated Exia was no match for their Aheads and GN-XIIIs.

Likewise, the Zaku I, which is considered weak by 0079 standards, should not be able to contend with the powerful Sazabi. It doesn't matter who the pilot is at that point. In any case, if I recall, Char didn't win that fight.

How about a Reboot game where you play as either Bob or Matrix and you have to not only defeat the viruses, but also go into and win the games?

Samurai Jack is another show that would make a good game.

They made a Samurai Jack game on PS2 and GC. I don't know how good it was though.

Half-Life 3. We need Episode 3 of HL2 first though..

A Transformers Fighter would be cool. Although I think if there was a G1 game like ROTF's game it'd work even better.

Oh yeah... Portal 2.

I, of course, had no idea. Perhaps, I should look into it and find out if it is as good as I think it would be.

Just like the show? No thanks. Considering that Gundam usually has 50% story and 50% action, it would be a cutscene heavy game, and that often drives people away. (It's why I never finished Xenosaga) Although done like Fire Emblem or Advance Wars, it'd work quite nicely.

The Gundam itself was nigh-indestructible, and if it was just like the shows, it would end up being the only playable MS. This actually goes for almost every Gundam series, especially Wing and 00. being able to take out an entire army without a scratch SEEMS fun, but that's only until you realize the lack of a challenge.
