So, has anyone downloaded the demo for this game? I did just a couple of days ago, and I believe we have a winner on our hands! At first, I was a little uncertain about the gameplay because you can't jump. But as I got the hang of it, I realized this game has it's own unique combat engine. It involves mostly stealth, sneaking around and taking down one enemy at a time. I don't know how boss fights will go, since the demo ends when you reach the first one.

The voice acting is also top notch, and fans of the 90's Batman the Animated Series (such as myself) will be pleased. I recognized Mark Hamill right away as the Joker...but wait...is that Kevin Conroy playing Batman? Why yes it is! Anyway, I'm pretty excited about the release of this game.

Got the demo, fell in love with it. I have a PS3, so I can get the Joker maps. Sorry, 360 owners, maybe you'll get something awesome and exclusive as well. Perhaps a map where you play as, I dunno, Scarecrow. I'd bet he'd be fun to play as.

In any case, it's a good Batman Game. I'm checking the temperature in Hell right now, and yes, it's damn cold. I can't wait to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight.

The demo was very fun. The combat scenes were great. The stealth aspects of the game really impressed me as well! Plus the pre-order come with a Batarang!

Agreed.

I want a Batarang.. Oh well I guess its too late to preorder this since it comes out tomorrow. I am going to buy it though. Probably see District 9 and try to find Long Haul as well.

I played the demo and it was really awesome. Gameinformer gave it a 9.5 of 10. I usually trust their reviews. The demo felt really solid though. I can't wait for it to come out.

Plus the original animated series cast including Mark Hamill voicing characters is epically awesome.

According to Tim Buckley, the Batarang is VERY low quality. And since that's the reason anyone pre-ordered the Collector's edition, it seems anyone who got the Collector's edition paid extra for a poorly made piece of plastic.

Meanwhile, the rest of the game is getting great reviews. I look forward to seeing how Zero Punctuation attempts to work this out.

The batarang is o.k. the problem is they tried to make it look distressed like it had been used by batman which with plastic doesn't work well maybe if they had made it out of metal it would have worked better but then it would have raised the price to much. The other cool things that the collectors addition, comes with is dr. young's diary from arkam asylum with backstory on each of villains in the game with her personal insights into why they are the way they are. The other thing it comes with is a behinds the scenes dvd which includes a look at both mark hamill and keven conroy doing the voice work for there characters. The game is great lots of places to explore and no load times which is really nice just one giant world. 10/10

Heh I loved the game so much I beat it in two days and solved all he riddles. Definite must buy. The Joker challenge maps are fun, he is kinda clunky when he fights however and doesn't sneak as well as batman does.

The parts with scarecrow where awesome BTW. This game has a real MGS feeling to it too. Really awesome.

I'm anxiously awaiting the PC version's release so I can join in the fun. Under no circumstances would I pay extra for the batarang and whatnots, though.Just seems like a waste of money. But that's just me.
