Finally killed Djura! Well, sort of cheesed him, really. Locked onto him before climbing up the last step of the ladder, and basically shot him off the roof. Reloaded, picked up his Powder Keg Badge, and voila! Rifle spear and Ashen garb available for purchase!

Hopefully, Vicar Amelia will be just as easy. Haven't found any exploits for the fight, but I'll at least read some guides and youtube videos before going in. At level 92, it should be a manageable fight.

Seriously, almost half the difficulty of this game comes from it's reputation.

I'm lvl 84 in xenoverse. I unlocked Super 17 and I freaking love him. He's always been one of my favorite characters. I'm glad they made him alot of fun to use.
I'm also levelling a saiyan. He's about 54 by now. His Ki supers do stupid damage.

Fully explored Old Yharnam, which didn't really cough up much in the way of items, but at least I've opened up all shortcuts to the area.

Had a bit of a WTF moment; that damn beckoning bell refused to work, so I can't summon Alfred to co-op Blood-starved Beast. Then again, at level 92, I should be pretty over-leveled for this fight.

Question is, should I kill Vicar Amelia first?

Oh f**k it, I'll just level up to 100 and take them on.

Took down Blood-Starved Beast. With a Kirkhammer+3 and fire paper, he went down pretty quick. Black Church Garb didn't do much to protect me from poison, and somehow, I actually forgot to use antidotes! Just kept using blood vials when poisoned to top up my health. :BANG_HEAD:

It was only after killing the thing, and while still poisoned, I instinctively used an antidote from the quick-access button. WTF didn't I do that DURING the fight?!

Oh, well, blood vials are easy to farm anyway, and the thing's dead.

So with BSB dead, the door to the workshop is open, and I can do a little exploring now.

But before that, I think I'll farm a few twin bloodstone shards from the sack dudes at the Unseen Village.

Vicar Amelia is no more. 8)

Fricking game glitched on me when I fought that damn sorcery werewolf at the bottom of the pit--got stuck in a wall, and the SOB killed me. I've got a hunter's axe +6 with his name on it, and I'll be back to whoop his ass some other time. :CON:

Now carefully exploring the Forbidden Woods, while still farming twin bloodstone shards at Unseen Village.

Okay, I hit the cap in Xenoverse, I'm sure this time. Lower levels keep challenging me to fights for some reason. I can't really understand it. I got challenged by a lvl 7 namek the other day. Why is everyone picking fights with me?
Anyways, I got Shining Slash. I was all happy too, since my frost demon rocks Tapion's Sword (if you dont know who Tapion is, get out) and I was gonna rock shining slash on him, being a striker and all...
Then I came to the sad realization that only humans and saiyans can use sword attacks. Ok, lemme just equip it to my saiyan...who's specced for Ki...
Bet your ass that made my day yesterday...
So I made a striker class earthling, gave her Yamcha's bandit sword, because Yamcha's a badass, and she's just the best thing ever.
I also got a full set of Bardock's armor as well. I'm currently working on farming Broly's, but holy crap the DRM is unkind.

Not everyone's seen Wrath of the Dragon. I didn't even see it until a couple of nights ago.

Same. Bardock set on my Saiyan, Broly set for my Majin.

I unlocked Omega Shenron. He's quite a bit of fun to play, though landing Dragon Thunder is impossible.
I cant seem to unlock the chest piece of broly's armor though.
I've also mastered Hercule as a mentor. He's got some pretty useless moves...

Currently at level 112.

Found a really good place to grind levels at the Byrgenwrth lecture hall. The slime students cough up a pretty decent 10K+ for just a couple minutes' work. Spamming the flamesprayer makes it an easy job, and the students themselves drop QS bullets Quite often.

Been alternating that with the Unseen Village to farm twin bloodstone shards.

Tried exploring nightmare frontier, but those damn Loran silverbeasts are too much for me at the moment. A green version of those motherf**k*rs ambushed me and nearly emptied my health bar in one go with a 6-slash combo. WTF?! I tried running away, but the a$$hole kept chasing after me all the way back to the lamp. Ran out of stamina, and it caught up with me and with one final swipe...dead hunter.

Thankfully, the place is optional. I won't be going back there in a while.

At level 114, it's really nothing to brag about, but I stumbled onto Darkbeast Paarl in the Unseen Village and killed him on the first try. Found a Tonitrus, and will upgrade it and see how it performs. It's pretty under-powered compared to Ludwig's blade and the kirkhammer, but it should be pretty good against enemies that are weak to bolt.

Killed the Witch of Hemwick, one try--no fuss no muss. Here's where level grinding pays off. Seriously takes the stress off of an unbalanced enemy. On a level 50 or so hunter, which is considered an "appropriate level to fight the Witch, you can easily get stunlock by a binding spell, and the witch slits your throat to one-hit kill you. At 130, it barely takes off 5% of your health bar. Even the feared soot monsters went down after 3 swipes of my Ludwig's holy blade (+6, scaled to arcane by means of a fire gem, and in 2-handed mode).

And now that I have access to runes, I'll start hunting for more nice ones. Moon is pretty good for level grinding, since it increases the amount of blood echoes dropped by enemies. Sadly, it's not a lot. Maybe about 10-15 percent at most.

Broly refuses to drop his chest piece. 2 arms, 2 feet, 1 legs, 0 chest. I hate rng as a concept as it is, but this is just dumb. Its a chance at a chance at a chance. Too dumb. When I finally get it, i'm done with this mission, gonna unlock vegito, ss4 goku, then i'll have unlocked everyone. But it'll take time.

Preparing to take the plunge into a chalice dungeon. I just hope there's an "escape token" or something so I can hightail it back to hunter's dream if things get too hot. I hear that the enemies in level 5 have the same difficulty of ng+++ ones. Pretty sure I don't want to take those one before grinding to level 200 at least.

Broly finally coughed up the last piece of his armor and I unlocked Vegito. Now all I need to do is unlock SS4 goku. Ugh...paaiinn...especially since SS4 vegeta was a preorder bonus only, so my roster wont even be completed.

Still, i wonder if Xenoverse will last long enough to get characters from the new upcoming Dragonball series, or if they'll do a sequel, or something else altogether... Because if they do Xenoverse 2, I wanna kerp all my stuff...

Forgot to include an entire play through in here ( :BANG_HEAD: ) but this weekend I got to the final boss of my play through of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Never got through the game, so I recently started a new play through......... God dang that final boss (Senator Armstrong, for those who are unaware) is ridiculous. I had heard the stories, but man he is absolutely punishing! Gonna give some more tries this weekend, but as is, the farthest I've gotten his life down to is like 165 (out of 200)

Yup, Armstrong's a major PITA. It's been a long time since I last played MGR, but IIRC the key is to know when and where he'll attack (his telegraphs are pretty obvious), and put yourself in a spot where his attacks won't hit. Also, doing ninja runs around the area's perimeter helps with his rushes, and once he calms down, rush in for a few slashes, and run away again.

But frankly, I found the VR missions WAY harder than fighting Armstrong. You basically have to Zandatsu most if not all of the enemies to keep your HP and zandatsu meter filled up.

Moosey, what you gotta do is blademode his back when he heals, it'll cancel it out.
When he throws parts of his metal gear at you, run under them, they'll miss, drop more healing items, and you can just run around and pick them up.
Just do the dodge against his ground punch attack, and be ready to dodge when he glows.

You think he's hard now? You fight him again in the Jetstream DLC, he's just maddening then...

Metal Gear Rising:
So I started my playthrough of Revengence difficulty, and to prepare for this, I bought and fully upgraded the Fox Blade. And um...bosses are still difficult? Everything else just dies.

I only ever use the fox blade when I just want to speed through a boring level, like the one on the way to Mistral. Kickass boss fight, level itself is kinda boring though.
Try the unlimited blademode wig with it, unlimited ripper mode plus fox blade...I bet it would break the game.

So I recently got Playstation Allstars. It's not as bad as I'de initially thought, and while similar, its way different than Smash. Can't count how many times I lost because I was laughing too hard at the pure crazyness on the screen.

Yes, Kratos does have Rocket Launcher, would you like to dodge?
"Alympus will BURN!"
*fires rocket*
NOPE

Yeah, but.... I can't even get to the part where you can slice his back
I've been taking a break and started playing Fallout 3. I had gotten it for like $15 a while back and got my character to like level 3. I started playing again after seeing the trailer for Fallout 4. On another note, who's excited for Arkham Knight?

Dang, that's commitment! I'm super excited to get my grubby mitts on it; only 11 days to go before I can dive right in! Hopefully it lives up to Arkham City, my big concern is that the ending won't be nearly as awesome as City's. Plus, even amazing devs like Rocksteady have fallen after a few games.

Wolfenstein: The New Order:
Snagged it on the Steam Sale for $15, on the idea that if my computer can't run it, I'd just return it because Steam can do that now, though only in the first two weeks and only for games that you have less than two hours of playtime on.

My computer can run this game, and I was madly in love with it as soon as they gave me a gun. As far as progress goes, I just stole a bunch of helicopters.

Double Dragon Neon:
Also on the Steam Sale for a whopping $2. Playing through with a friend of mine, it's the most over-the-top '80s game ever made. For Christ's sake, one of the healing items is a distinct parody of Crystal Pepsi! You share health with your--and this is the game's term, not mine--bro by high-fiving! You have to fight the evil Skullmageddon in his Rocket Dojo! It's amazing! Currently we're both tearing through Skulmageddon's genetics lab. We just took out a giant plant monster with tentacles--tentacles that turned into a laser-breathing T-rex and a shark with missiles for eyes. I only wish I was deranged enough to have made this **** up.
