3. PS2, which I assume is on most people's lists
2. SNES
And 1. PC. I mean, it's a system that can never die, and has more games than every other console ever. Not to mention it can play DVDs, download all types of media, and all this other stuff that consoles try to make interesting.

3. SNES so many great games
2. PS2 same as above
1. XBOX 360 don't know why, but I just seem to have the most fun with it.
I don't even count my PS3 as a gaming system any more. I've had it since lauch day and I only own two games (MGS4 and Disgaea 3) I know that I'll eventually pick up the new Drake's Fortune, but for now I just use it for Blurays and DVDs. Hell, I play more games on my Dreamcast than my PS3.

3. Would be the N64. For some reason, I've been playing a lot of N64 as of late. I've been diving into Road Rash and Pokemon Stadium 2 and many others and I'm having a ball with my friends.
2. PS2. This system just straight rocked the world.
1. SNES. The system of my childhood, and, in my opinion, the best of the classic consoles. Great graphics and sound, along with one of the best libraries in gaming history. So awesome.

1: PS3/2. I really can't seperate the two, since I have the old 60gig PS3 with backwards compatability
2: Atari 800. Must show old school support.
3: NES. That was my first console (Atari was Dad's), so I HAS to be on the list.

The older models had backwards compatibility with PS2 games. Unfortunately, they thought it would be a good idea to stop making it. I guess they thought since people were still buying PS2's used, or still had theirs, the PS3 didn't need BC anymore.

Shadowman is correct. The original 60gig and 20 gig had backwards compatibility. The original 60gig also had 4 usb ports, and a plethora of memory card slots on the front, next to the BD-drive. I personally think the 60gigs were the best setup they had, add to it that the hard drive is removable, and you can store anything you want on it. =D

3-PS my first console ever and it was awesome.
2 - Game Cube the first console I bought and I loved how it didn't try to be a multimedia machine and just focused on being a grate console
1 - PS3 it has BC so I can play all the games I have from the previous ones and it's awesome and it's not emo and kills itself like other consoles (360)

by Me, Grimlock!
XBOX, PS2, Colecovision (yes, I'm dating myself).
If you'd have asked me this 10 or 15 years ago, I would have said the PC because of games like Duke Nukem, X-Com, X-Men, California Games, etc. Just not nowadays.

1 - Spectrum 128+2 (not the +3, that was ****). I could probably live with only Spectrum games. There's plenty of awesome in there.
2 - Amiga500 (w\accelerator. Not the Amiga1200, it had compatability issues). Home of many an oddball game.
3 - It's either the Megadrive\Genesis or the SNES, depending on how I feel. Today, I'll plump for the SNES.

I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy when it comes to systems. They push the envelope and come up with more new ideas than the other guys.
In no particular order.
N64-most of my all time favorite games are on this system, and to me it was the golden age of video games.
NES-this is where it all started for me.
Wii-the Wii Remote makes some things a lot more lifelike and fun to do. Thanks to the virtual console I've been able to play some of my favorite games I've lost over the years.
