Hey Mr. DJ...Hero!

This game friggen rocks.

I just got it yesterday and it's really addictive. With Guitar hero I could just never really care because I've played actual guitar, so the correlation is just not there for me. But this is all digital, it's something that I just wouldn't have access to otherwise.

I don't know, but I could actually 'feel' the beat as I was playing this. I found it was much easier to get in the groove of playing and being a part of the music than with either Guitar Hero or Rock Band.

It's harder than either of those, so be aware of that, but it's definitely worth a listen or spin if you're into this kind of music.

Also, I'd love to get some battles on with someone once I get the hang of it, message me if you're interested. PSN: Daidoji_Kage

Does it allow for down loadable content? Are you able to make your own mixes and share them?

Yes and no/kinda.

There is DLC already available.

You can't make your own beat arrangement to the individual songs, but you can create your own set list.

DJ Hero works off set lists of 3-7 songs in a row, you can arrange them if you like.

This game has definetly peaked my interest. Its not really my favorite type of music, but I'm pretty open minded. I hope one of my friends picks it up so I can at least try it out without making a fool of myself in the middle of Best Buy.

I'm interested, but I want to try this thing out before spending triple-digit amounts on a game.

I was extremely disappointed with this game. I had such high hopes for it, and it's boring. No matter what difficulty I put it on I'm not challenged. Maybe I should learn to actually be a DJ then?

The only thrill was hearing the "U Can't Touch This"/"Ice Ice Baby" mash up...

Quite frankly I love everything about this game except for the basic fact that I am already crap on the other Hero games, so the cost to get more stuff my skills will be very limited in.

That said I've listened to many of the tracks and they are quite interesting. So once it's been out for a while hopeful the price will drop, and I might pick one up. (or i'll get one for a present which I wouldn't complain about) For now I just hope the GH5:DLC for December will be be good.
