Right now Star Trek Online (STO) is running a promotion with Del Taco. From the looks of things if you get a valuemeal or something you can get a collectable cup that has a code for a shuttlecraft "pet" in the game! (http://www.startrekonline.com/deltaco & http://www.deltaco.com/)
I live in Minnesota and there are no Del Taco's within a few hundred miles of me!
I was hoping there is someone on the boards who genuinely likes Del Taco and who would be eating there occasionally regardless of a promotion. Obvious, if you plan to play STO you would use the code for yourself - but if you do not plan to play STO I would love to have the unused code from your cup. If anyone is willing to help me out please PM me right away!

I would so send this news into AOTS just to see them make fun of this failed marketing plan. Del Taco hans't been in my state in well over a decade. There's only 1 in Florida from what I've heard. I hear most are ony located in the Western US.

They should've gone with Burger King or Taco Bell.

I agree! Taco Bell would have been nice; I eat there almost weekly with a friend from work...

No and no. I dislike the idea of having to buy a game and then having to pay to play it. If there were a Del Taco somewhere near here, I might give them a try, but I'm perfectly fine with Taco Bell and Taco Johns.
