Got this last week. Got rid of my 42"LG for a 52" Sony Bravia with Internet capability. Now my God of War 3 looks even better.

Sweet!

I still have to wait over a week to go on a bloody rampage through Greek mythology, oh Kratos I miss you.
But I did get a short play at my mate's house, damn Posidon was annoying and Hades is like the best boss ever!

I have a 42" I want to upgrade, but I'm waiting for a while for the 3D leds to drop quite a bit in price.

Same boat. I was looking at the 3D sets but wanted a larger screen size 52". All the 3D sets were double the price or more. So I am going to wait 2 or 3 years befor getting one as the price will drop and the new technology will be more refined and bug free. It works in my favor as I buy a new set every 3 to 5 years anyway. Plus my Sony Bravia has Firmware updates so we will see what happes in the future.

I think by that time 3D will be dead once more.

Upgrading the size is cool and all, but going from LG to Sony? Ech.

To me, that's a downgrade...

I still have the LG set in my garage. I did my research as one should always do befor investing a grand or more on a HDTV and this one rated very high. I found this one online at a great online store for $1477.00 no tax and Free 4 day shipping. this set goes for $1600.00 to $1700.00 easy. With it being internet ready it has firmware Updates like the PS3 to better improve itself.

Yes I do post at TFW. Thought I would venture out after 8 years there.

EDIT: I am unfamiliar with what a Spam-Bot is?

Spam-bots or spambots are these annoying little programmes that sign-up to a forum to advertise websites or online services like WOW Gold or p0rn sites.
They then ether start threads with a description, sales pitch and a link to the site they're advertising some then go on to post the exact same thread for as long as they're not baned. There are however even some that post in threads replying to a topic.

We've even had one that asked a question where to buy pirate DVDs, posted links to a store that had them and when a poster replied with "Dude you posted a link to where you can get that stuff" it just quoted him and said thank you.

They're like spam e-mails just more annoying.

Welcome to the board Ken. Nice to see one of the nicer (and reasonable) people from that board came to their senses.
