A video of game play from War for Cybertron featuring Shockwave has surfaced from Gamestop's website here. The trailer concentrates on said character and offer's a good look at how the game and it's mechanics will function. The trailer may also be viewed below:

According to the advertising for the game, Shockwave will be unlockable when the game is purchased from Gamestop.

Looks good. Very Gears of War-ish, then again they've been making those comparisons since the beginning. I'm dying to see how it actually plays.

Anyone else think it's crap that he's only playable on multiplayer and on only one mode?

Wrong.

Towards the end it shows him flying around in some form
of rocket/jet mode. It's the part with the vehicle with
the purple exhaust.

He was referring to the fact that Shockwave is playable in one Multiplayer Gametype, not that Shockwave is only playable in his robot mode.

I mean it's kind of hard to miss the footage of his alt mode.

Ok, so i can get passed the 'only available in multiplayer" thing, but why not a gun??? I reeeeeally had my heart set on 'giant flying purple laser gun'.

Ah well, only a minor disappointment. As long as the rest of the game lives up to the hype, its cool.

0.14 he looks kinda like beast wars transmetal megatron...

But anywho, who is gonna choose Demolisher over him?

i REALLY hope this isnt!

Well, actually, there is a G1 repaint of Ironhide for the ROTF game on XBox 360. Just go to Youtube and look it up. I'm sure it's there.

it's very but i like him better when he was a tank. but i guess Megs already took that mode.

uh i know theres a G1 repaint for ironhide in the ROTF game i meant when it was first announced it was also a gamestop preorder exclusive even thought you can unlock it in the game without having to preorder it

Too bad I don't get him as an unlockable on the PC for pre-ordering through Gamestop. That was my second motivation for paying the game off in the pre-order.

"Unlock" is code for "you will just be getting this sooner than everyone else."

Bummed out that he's not a big flying purple gun.

I guess big flying purple guns aren't appealing to the current generation...

Yeah, not much of a fan of his alt mode. Ah well, probably won't get to pre-order Shockwave in the UK anyway. Demolisher? I'm even less enthused about. Luckily, there's enough decent looking bots already in the main game. Wow, it's MUA2 all over again.*

*by which I mean: none of the pre-order bonuses so far interest me. I don't think this game looks anything like MUA2, nor do I think it is based off the G1 Marvel comics, or anything else this reading comprehension fail thread might take the above to mean.
