I would have said Rothlesberger from the title of this thread. Honestly. I'm not trying for any like, cheap tasteless humor or anything. I read the title and he was the first guy I thought of.

I don't know. Do you guys really believe in the Madden Curse though? I always just thought it was silly. Vick went to jail for fighting dogs, the cover of Madden had nothing to do with that.

I'll bet anything they put John Madden on the front of one of the next ones as soon as they know hes about to die just to perpetuate that myth. Its freakin hilarious fans and gamers take it so seriously though.

I wonder how many people steer clear of Brees in the Fantasy Leagues next year due to "the Madden Curse"?

What's more hilarious is that they'll buy the same game every year without even realising it. I don't buy them because after the first time, the games that follow really shouldn't be worth what they're being sold for.

They make slight advancements every few years, but then after that it's only a matter of current rosters. I agree, $50-60 a pop every year is a bit wild. I love the NHL games, but those have been virtually unchanged since the last league expansion. The highlight stick or hit stick or whathaveyou, I get confused so I just play it on classic control mode anyhow. I don't think the games should be that expensive, but I understand capitalism and the economy and blah blah blah.
