I was starting to get a good feeling about this game right up until I saw this video. I too like the constantly shifting components on Optimus' back, even though it seemed very repetitive. I loved how viceral the weapons look and sound, and the way they impact enemies. Matt Tieger kept saying how the weapons were very 1980's, but they're nothing like them. More like the movie weapons. And I can't believe there's no cover system. Weak!
Did anyone else notice what I did when he was fighting as the Aerialbot against the 'Titans'? The Titan was firing at him, he engaged his cloak, and the Titan started firing in a completely different direction as if he'd gone completely. Doesn't look like the AI is particularly clever.
God knows I'd kill for a good Transformers game, but I'm not going to hand over my money for such a generic shooter just because it's the ONLY Transformers game out there.
Meh, its an open preference opinion.
I agree with the 80's weapons reference. I just did'nt see what he was talking about.
Hey pal, i'm a gearshead and then some, but the transforming and close combat stuff would'nt work too well with having a need to be in cover alot.
Generic shooter!? OMG, go play some CoD:MW2 bro, yes TFWFC uses the unreal engine, but ya know what, it ain't no Gears clone and omfg the latest version of the unreal engine is really nice. I'd love to see more games done with it.
Yeah, call me a sheep, but they already have me sold on this game, not because its the best game in town, but because there are too many elements found in this one game that just excites me.
