I was on the WFC site the other day looking at the pre-order bonus characters. Did anyone else notice that these characters are only playable in the multi player escalation mode? I haven't heard anything about this mode before, has anyone else?

I thought it was similar to Gears of War's Horde Mode?

all I've heard is that there is an Escalation mode, and had assumed it was a Horde mode clone. I love Chaoslock's idea of it being an all out war though. Like you could join the battle with whatever featured characters weren't being played at the time.

I have no idea what horde mode is, but his idea does sound like fun. I kinda thought it would be the mode they dump all the chars that didn't really make it into story mode. I hope they have dlc with new chars and stuff

Given the name "Escalation," it'll probably be a survival game mode similar to Horde in GoW or Firefight in Halo 3: ODST
