Shadowman is correct. WFC is far from an MMO. World of Warcraft and Warhammer Online are MMOs.

bleh, lets just agree to disagree about definitions. Fallout is a FPS, but it's got loads of roleplay elements and you could play it in third-person view if you like. Like I say, the "types" of games are just marketing speak anyway, like film genres.

Instead, lets be excited by more WFC goodness and hopefully some word on a TF MMO (again, preferably a MMORPG)

Fallout 3 was an RPG with FPS or TPS gameplay, much like the Elder Scrolls series. It's even in the title of the first game "A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game."

The "types" of games are the genre, which can be combined. Action-adventure RPGs, first-person shooter puzzle games, whatever GTA counts as. It's not marketing speak, it's how you play the game.

wait...fallout can be played in third person? JOYGASM! I can't play first person shooters as I get violently sick. Out of curiousity, anyone else have that issue?

Nope. Didn't even know that was possible. But I perfer to play Fallout in 3rd person because I just suck at FPS's. And I like that you can zoom in close or out depending on where you want the camera.

What I've been told is that it's a form of motion sickness, but I can't take Dramamine so I'm SOL. And I also suck at them. The only one I've ever been able to play through completely was COD 4: Modern Warfare, and that was by only playing 10-20 minutes at a time. Even the original Wolfenstein 3D made me sick.

F-sake man, you don't understand that "agree to disagree" is internets for "ok, I'm wrong, shut up about it now" ?

I can't, actually. It's not like I want to, it's that I'm practically hard-wired to believe half the things I hear are wrong and I'm compelled to try to back these beliefs up. I'm not sure if there's a name for that.

On topic, NetDragon, does anyone know anything about the games they've made? Like, if these games are any good? There's a suspicious lack of information on them. Or I'm not looking hard enough. Probably the latter but I feel it's a question that needs asking.

#1 WANT for campaign; more driving missions. Something were you are fleeing from something, or have to follow something. Else, you die.

For Multiplayer, some new Connection layout. Be able to make games that donesn`t need a specific host to survive. I just hate it when the host quits beacuse he is losing...

Also, be able to wiew a list of games online, and be able to join wichever you want. Supposed to make avoiding laggy games easier. Plus the possibility to make your own ¨game lobby.

Keep the present characters, and also give some new ones; make some abilities for all classes to share, or a few at least. Many also complain about the color schemes for each faction, though, i think the Disguise is to be blamed.

For Escalation... same thing about Connecting.

Also, Starscream STILL needs to be a figure. I also would like an Autobot Jet. And a Decepticon Scout.

What could be interesting would be an exploration of the years AFTER Prime and the main Autobot forces leave. In the first episode(s) of the G1 cartoon, Shockwave was left to rule over the planet... and in the Exodus novel, Ultra Magnus and the Wreckers pledged to stay behind and fight while Prime and the others went off world while Cybertron 'healed'. It would allow other characters to come to the forefront and play a role in the story without being "protected" because of writer/editor/cannon caveat. Or even, what if a group of the Autobots and Decipticons get separated from Megs and Prime during their running firefight from Cybertron? We could see this "lost" group go to a bunch of other planets/environments as they try to regroup or just survive....

I think a Wreckers sidestory mixed with a little "lost in space" situation would be kind of intriguing... It would also give them the potential to free up the multiplayer and campaign environments as well.

Except for the fact that WFC and Exodus precede the Prime cartoon and not the G1 cartoon.

I'm all for fragmenting the canon further then! I always imagined WFC being a G1 prequel, anyways. So let's assume I'm going from that premise - sorry I didn't point that out first!

WFC2. I'm excited. I want more classes including triple-changers where the L2 transforms them between vehicles. Also combiners. All five players on the team in the same area of the map and control whatever limb they turn into. No weapons or abilities bound to just certain classes. I want to be able to customize what classes looks like. I want to be able make what he/she looks like, what they transform into and what that looks like. Customize the vehicles abilities. Offline split-screen modes and more than escalation. If this game is earth bound then I want Assassins Creed brotherhood mechanics where we blend in with other vehicles. Also enviromental damage where we can destry the map by the time the match has ended. Also something Uncharted two with cover if possible and climbing buildings. And the melees should be like Uncharted with combos and reversals.

I went over this before WfC came out: That won't work. No one wants to have control given up to someone else, and even if they do, good luck finding five people who can all agree on the same course of action. Finding TWO is a miracle itself, much less five.

I hope that the new game develops the main campaign and multi-player more.

Campaign should have more stages and some upgrades to use. You can mix up the characters and the weapons, but there's only so much the original game can do. Also, better handling for the turret guns. I've been in a few cases where I get one and have to get rid of it or the next part of the stage, like in stage four of the 'Con campaign, where I get the turret, than have to skip or ditch it to jump over the pits while dealing with Omega Supreme.

The multi-player really needs some refinement, as we all saw with those glitches. Also, it'd be nice to have something to unlock on each level up (a new weapon, some new upgrades, health meter increase, etc.). But what I'd like to see is that if the developer uses "Prime Mode" again, there should be a benefit to having to level up again, like being able to use more than three upgrades or just having base stats improved.

That's actually the point. There has to be a trade off. The Ion Displacer and Nucleon Shock Cannon are way too powerful, if you could keep them as long as you wanted with no drawbacks, the game would become completely broken.

A good idea? what if WFC2 lets you make a character like in the mulltiplayer and you can play as that character you made in the campain.

A solid idea, but remember that half the fun in WfC's campaign was the banter between the characters. It wouldn't really work as well with a custom character. unless you could pick from a list of personality type, which all have distinct lines during gameplay. And funny hats! All the best games have funny hats.

I think it's pretty safe to guess that WFC2 will share the same basic story with the sequel to the Exodus novel (which Alex Irvine is writing).

I say "basic" story story since WFC and Exodus were only slightly similar in their base plots.
