I've had a deathadder for several years. Excellent mouse. The software that came with mine never worked and all the updates haven't helped. The on the fly mouse speed used to work well but stopped. I don't play pc games anymore so it's no big deal.

I often wonder if people win things these days. Everybody has a contest and it serves only to get you looking at their stuff. They can just make up names and call it a day.

Yes, actual people on the site actually win these prizes. The cost to ship out the prizes comes out of my pocket as well which is why I usually limit it to US residents only. The only recent exception is the Geek To Me Headmasters DVD contest which they're going to ship to our winner. The rest I ship myself!

What exactly makes it a "gaming" mouse? Can it be used as a regular computer mouse? I don't know because I only play console games.

It can be used as a regular mouse as well. They sent an extra Megatron mouse which I will be keeping for myself for the time being, but might use as a prize at a later date. The mice are just extremely precise compared to a regular mouse, something I guess is really important to gaming.

I use a Razer Orochi at work all day long. Unfortunately, video games isn't in my job description.

So yes, they'll work great as an 'everyday mouse.' '

Wow, I guess monday was my lucky day!

Not only did I win this, but I also finally tracked down both RTS Grappel and the dinosaur PCC sets. Guess I should've bought a lottery ticket, too!

Got my mousepad and Shockwave mouse in the mail today! Thanks! They look really cool, and I haven't even opened them yet, really nice looking even in the package.

Got mine in the mail...however there's a slight problem. Upon opening the box and going for the mouse...I found that the mouse box is empty D=. Everything else is intact, except for the mouse. The box had already been unsealed from the bottom with a knife from the look of it and the mouse removed. Everything else is intact, but no mouse. Attached is a picture of how I found it.
