War For Cybertron

I just picked this game up today. I was first annoyed for the fact it took over 3 hours to install. Let alone, I'm not good at shooters (or driving games for that fact). Plus, I don't think my laptop is really built for this kind of gaming, so I had to lower the resolution. But it's just so weird to hear Johnny Yong Bosch (aka Adam from Power Rangers) as Bumblebee. It does make me happy too that Peter Cullen's voices Prime in this game. Does anyone else play this? Do you have any tips? I would like to try the online gaming with it some day just to see how it is, but until I get better at the controls... that's not going to happen any time soon.

It's sad to say that even though the game is a year and two months old, I'm pretty sure the Online CP community is next to dead.

I can see that about the online community. I'm just playing the solo missions right now. I'm actually kind of excited that they're making a second game, but I sure hope they change the controls of this game.

Wow! You got the Laptop version? That must be difficult and or different to play, control wise I mean. Yeah when you first load the game it does take a really long time to load, never understood why that is, but after that you just pop it in and play. As for the Online community I beg to differ. While it might not be as big as some online communities like Call of Duty, which I find boring to play anyway, There is still a thriving community for WFC. You have play during peak hours which is mostly during the day. Thats when alot are online. Which I never understood why kids are playing games in the middle of the day when they should be at school. I can hear them with their headsets on and they sound like they are 10 yeas oldImage. Weekends too of coarse are pretty busy online with people. Late night hours (Night Owls) you get mostly your veterans online. All your Prime Mode players , champs, pro's, MVP's, all your high scorers. When it hits around 4 or 5 am is when its dead and virtually no one is in MultiPayer except for maybe a small amount of people in Team Deathmatch. But then again there still a whole mess of others in Escalation. For some reason Escalation always seems to be running 24 hours with people.I guess its less threatening than playing against actual people or MVP's.
As for help and tips on the game there is a whole thread for any WFC questions you might have located here......

Personally I love War For Cybertron. The characters, the story, the designs, everything. Its my favorite universe since G1. Wish it could be made into a series or movie.
Enjoy the game.

Transformers Prime takes place in the same continuity.

That's what hasbro SAYS Anyway.
Anyhow, The PC Community IS Dead. Maybe not 360 or PS3, but PC? Yup....

I'm tired of TF Prime being shoved down my throat. Just because they were released around the same time does not make them in the same continuity. I don't care what anyone says. No its not the same. Not the same characters, not the same story, sure as heck not the same designs. They are two completely different living creations. I could go on but I digress. This is not the thread for that conversation.
Anyhow the PC community being dead is probably right , I did not think of that. I was speaking about the PS3 community.

By that logic, Beast Wars doesn't take place in the same continuity as G1.

Yeah, I think it's dead on all fronts. It doesn't help that instead of fixing the obvious problems, they try to appease us with $10 DLC packs and bonus XP weekends.
