I also say MGS. Resident Evil 2 comes close but MGS i think is the best. Oh and i almost forgot about Soul Reaver. Thats my third best game.

Same for me...but Ocarian of time is the N.1 gamw of all time! Still, the Metroid serie and Castlevania are pretty awesome too...
Final Fantasy aswell, not to mention C&C and its kickass music!!

For me its Shadow of the Colossus. great gameplay, great music, great story.
I am a big fan of metal gear but in all honestly it just keeps repeating itself.
close contenders are Gran Turismo 3 and Tekken 5.
