I just used the G1 Prime code (robovision) and all i got wa a movie prime without the flames. I thougt there was a real G1 prime in the game. Do you have to unlock him some other way or did activison lie to us?

There is. So far the only way to get him is you have to collect all the Autobot symbols in every Autobot level. I hope a code is released soon!

Ok cool. I also heared that if you get all the D-Con ones you get G1 Megatron.

I found these codes at cheat code central.

Cybertron missions
At the "New Game" or "Load Game" screen, press Right, Up(2), Down, Right, Left(2) to unlock two Cybertron missions. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear.

Play as Generation 1 Jazz
At the "New Game" or "Load Game" screen, press Left, Up, Down(2), Left, Up, Right to unlock Generation 1 Jazz. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear.

be careful when entering the codes as they do mess up the achievements for xbox 360. i like doing things the hard way and just collecting and completing challenges to unlock the features i desire. overall, i love this game. i respect it for what it offers and forgive for what it doesn't.

I do that and then can see them in the G1 character list, turn them on, but I cant play them. Maybe I need to finish game first?

You can be Megatron? Can he Transform? I hope this is in the PS2 version, cause that's the console version I'll get, cause I'm not next-gen yet....

The G1 Megatron does not transform. When you try to transform he just takes off and flies around in robot mode. Like the cartoon.

the G1 version of Prime doesn't have guns in his hands(lol) but oh well, at least you get to be these characters in their original skins, right?

are the cheats the same for every system? i have the ps2 one soo..

and can someone explain how to use those cheats..i cant get it to work.

the cheats are the same but i'm not sure how to get them to work yet i did once with jazz but got rid of it because it was going to screw with my achievements on the 360 and i haven't been able to repeat the process of entering the cheats. sorry.

alright, i figured it out. yu use the cheat on the menu with campaign and bonus features.

yes, but then I cant play as Starscream or Optimus eventhough I put them ON in the G1 list.

How to do that?

well first off, you have to have played with them in the game already. then you have to go back to the different missions where you used that transformer.

If you use the codes on the 360 you cant save or get acheivments. If you've entered them and want to get back to the game and get stuff just load your saved game and it will go back to normal. Also the g1 prime code just takes away the flames. The only way to get the real g1 prime is to get all the autobot sheilds.

Cheers, that explains it. Im still at the first missions and am now just fooling around in the city because I cant be bothered to play the repetitive missions, so thats my problem

The cheats cant be the same as the buttons you use to input them are different on every system, unless you enter a passcode and not a combination of buttons to unlock them?

err when you collect the shields, is it during the actual missions or during the 'free roam' when you are heading to the missions?

all the codes are just using arrows (up, down, left right) so that way i guess they can be the same for each system.

you collect the shields in the free roam part.

Now here are two questions about Prime and Megatron's toon forms:

1. Is it possible to have both characters with their toon forms onscreen at the same time (ie a G1 final battle)?

2. It that is the case, how long will it be until someone does such a battle, and puts it up on youtube with either "The Touch", "Instruments of Destruction," or the cartoon theme blaring in the background?
