I dont understand how we can have almost 20 call of duty games but this gets shut down, how does the train wreck know as aliens colonial marines see the light of day but this gets the ax? The thing that sucks the most is that most of the game was complete when it was canceled, now all thats left is this video

The video only mentions story and campaign design having been done. Most likely this is just a proof-of-concept video.

As for your examples: COD makes loads of money and Sega makes terrible decisions. That explains those pretty nicely, I think.

The developer that originally posted the video said that all they needed to do was flush out the game a little & add in the dialog & music. The build shown there was a fully functional game just with no story elements. Wish i could find the site cause there were other videos on it that showed more gameplay. And as for more examples of games that should never have seem the light of day Bionic Commando(not the original the remake/sequel), Damnation, and if you want to go old school aquaman, superman(gamecube), and for the really old school you cant forget ET. There are many other games on both sides of the fence but im not here to discuss that, im here to fly the flag of Snake Plissken.
