I'm not happy by no competitive MP, but I always get TF games day 1, gotta keep up the tradition.

And that's fine. Normally, I'd try to get it myself. But this year's a little different for me. My finances aren't as stable as they were a year ago. I know I'll get it one day, but 24 June isn't going to be that day.

Ah finances are the killer, at least on PS3, 360, and PC it's only 49.99.

Okay, so if FOC Grimlock is in this in his dino body... then I honestly don't see how the FOC parts of this game could possibly fit seamlessly into the story of the actual FOC video game.

Until now, I was thinking it could fit after Megatron's resurrection but before the launch of the two starships, yet Grimlock's dino body activities in the FOC game were so tightly-knit and time-constrained that I honestly now cannot see any way to possibly squeeze RotDS's FOC parts into the main game.

RotDS looks like it'll have to be considered its own separate continuity from the main WFC/FOC games continuity, but still inspired by the continuity of those game.

What's up with AOE Grimlock's face? It's a completely different from what we've seen on the toys.

Once I saw the gameplay of Grimlock I had the same question.

But so far all of the WFC/FOC characters have been on Cybertron. And remember that Grimlock didn't get on the shuttle at the end of FOC. So as long as FOC Grimlock's gameplay stuff happens AFTER the shuttle leaves, there's a chance it might still fit.

I know it's been said that this is all supposed to happen before FOC, but that's all I've got.

Unless there's time travel involved, which I really hope isn't the case . . .

Isn't this the same DLC pack that comes with preordering the game from GameStop?

Yessir. Not a lick of difference, other than it being for PC.

Based on how Skywarp and Thundercracker acted in the WFC game I can't help but think that they reversed the character readouts, since Thundercracker was more of a scientist and Skywarp a warrior.

I may end up getting the game for PC since it's only 49.99, and in Canada every other platform has raised it's prices because of the Canadian dollar failing (new games are 69.99 instead of 59.99.) While Steam hasn't changed it's prices because of the dollar failing.

It looks very cut-and-paste from War For Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. I couldn't even find anything that was new about it besides a map here and there.

if i didnt know this was dark spark id swear it was footage taken from WFC & FOC. The graphics dont even look next gen ,yeah its a low quality condensed video but still the lighting and particle effects look like the previous games. Only way id run out & buy this day 1 is if they can guarantee me that the campaign is 10-15 hours or more not including cutscenes & has replay value. If its just FoC with bayformer stuff thrown in then ill wait til its around $10 or $20. Plus sniper elite 3 comes out the week after so they'd really need to do something grand to get me to pick this up instead of that.

You're gonna be waiting a very long time and some fairly high expectations tbh.

Activision games almost never droip in price under the first year it's out (Steam sales being the exception), FoC is still over $40 in stores.

A 10-15 hour campaign is pretty rare to get, A lot of recent games are only 5-8 hours. Every CoD games in 6 or less, same with every BF game, even the most recent Tomb Raider only took me 8 hours to beat. Doesn't seem like a realistic expectation.

I am cautiously curious about this game. I did not like FoC very much but I adored the first. In Foc they butchered Escalation. The same 4 maps and only a handful of maps and the same characters each time really blew away any re playability the first game had. I only could tolerate and handful of matches :( I may wait and see some reviews/ character and map rosters before I bite.

I totally agree with you bro.

To add to the why Escalation is bad compared to WFC:
- Characters almost don't talk at all anymore
- Enemies don't transform anymore
- Way to easy, with the gun upgrade and "set dificulty" option
- Limited amount of only 4 characters! Why?
- Only 4 maps, they should've spammed that mode with at least 8
- Wave limit of 15, you should always end in defeat in an Escalation game
- Ammo beacon is kind of overpowered, as is heal beam
- Maps should've been bigger

I still play WFC Escalation, I love Brawl, Thundercracker and Arcee.
Why isn't Arcee in FOC anyway?

FOC has a better singleplayer and multiplayer. Everything looks better and
the controls are better. But Escalation should've also been better, it's my favorite
game mode.

Remnant!

I'm totally fine with them recycling old maps/weapons/characters. The more the better.
Just hope the framerate's good and the gameplay is the same as FOC.
