To sell or not to sell.

Hello everyone,

My wife has been hounding me to sell some transformers and one in particular made me raise an eyebrow when I looked at the avg eBay sampling price.

Why is Costco battle ops bubblebee selling for $199-$250, when it came out I remember people saying "ugh not another bee".

Mine is in box, (I did take it out because let's face it, it's a transformer) but I am a master re-packer, and it is "like new"

My question is: what is your opinion, would you sell it now or hang on to it? and why?

I have two of these as well I was thinking of selling, I wouldnt ask more then $50 for mine each. Just dont think it should be more then that. Perhaps I am selling them at a loss according to ebay but I dont care, I got them on clearance.

If the goal is to make the wife happy, then you should sell it regardless.

If the goal is to make some scratch, you never know if the value will continue to rise, or fall precipitously. As an investment decision, TFs aren't the best. You're better off selling and then putting the proceeds into something basic, like an S&P Index fund.
