I would like to have help figuring what would be a fair price for this toy. I will describe it as best as i can.

The box was opened but in good condition. Some scratches but no major dent. It is complete with all cassettes and accessories.

- All joint are tight, even on the cassettes.

- All cassettes are near mint except Buzsaw has a small scratch on the yellow paint of his chest.

- On Soundwave you can see some scratches and wear marks: 1 deep scratch on the side of a leg and another deep one of the side the foot (same leg). Cassette panel has wear marks and plate accessory to cover the panel has some small scratches. Chrome on the button to open the panel has some scratches. Bottom of both foots have paint wear at the tip of the "toes". These are more apparent in alt mode. There is also a small scratch surrounded by wear marks only apparent when in alt mode. It is on the inside of one leg but in alt mode it is just beside the cassette panel.

- On Megatron gun there is a bit of paint wear just over the grip.

I really need some help... Here is the story:

I paid the item 219.99$US (shipping included) on eBay but it was supposed to be MISB. When received the item was in the condition described. The seller is offering me 40$US as a compensation but i am not sure if it is enough. Would you pay 179.99$us (225$CAD) for this?

Sounds about right, the price on that figure is crazy on e-bay right now. An open box wont decrease it by that much. And I dont think the paint apps are evidence that it was once transformed or played with, especially since this is the hasbro version.
