sorry if i already posted this. I could not find my previous post so i uploaded it again sorry.

I understand this may be off topic and this is from another toy forum but i feel comfortable asking here because i do not want that person to see this on the previous forum.

thanks for your understanding.

On another toy forum a member wanted to sell me mint rotf legends wheelie. I agreed. But the price they charged was ludacris. On ebay it is only 30 bucks. they wanted 43 bucks; you could buy age of extinction leader optimus prime for that amount of money. I made a deal with them saying i'd make a trade instead. They seemed to agree.

They listed characters they wanted such as cw onslaught. I said i'd buy it for them on amazon, ship it to their address and email them photos of tracking and buying confirmation.

then all of a sudden they said to send 43 bucks through paypal and then they would pay later. What does that even mean? This is when a red flag came up they said they need the cash now in order to help a "friend."

isn't that what most scammers say that they have to help a "friend."

He had a good feedback record from others who have traded with them b4.

-thanks

has anyone been scammed b4 and could help me avoid it?

-thank you very much.

Haven't been scammed before (never bought anything from anywhere besides eBay, BBTS, and Amazon), but that seems pretty fishy to me.

Changing the deal like that and wanting you to send money as they need it for a friend? Yeah, I can't tell you if it's a scam or not, but I'd avoid it like the plague. Just doesn't seem right.

Beastwarriordinobot and unicronomega are scammers. They've been brought to the attention of mods, I'm unsure whether these members are still operating.
