Hi, I've just recently started my collection of the WFC series however having issues finding exclusives to US stores in the UK.

Can anyone give me advice on the best way of ordering figures without paying crazy prices on Ebay.

Thanks

Sadly some stuff needs to be preordered to get it -especially if it is limited run, crazy popular or stockpiled by the same mouthbreaders that horded all the toilet paper.

for selects exclusives usually the best bet are Kapow toys & Indemand toys with both sometimes getting exclusivity to US store specific figures (eg Kapow had 35th cell shaded Optimus/Megatron Indemand had Centurion drone with accessories).
Target exclusives can usually be found at one of the above but there is some exceptions.

for Netflix exclusives stuff, it is more or less general release over here at Smyths and other online retailers.

SDCC/NYCC kapow and ID but expect demand to be high, somethings are plentiful for ages afterwards and maybe even cheaper (ghostbusters MP Prime) but other things go quickly then just are never seen again (10 pack micromasters).

for walmart and target exclusives, this can be a bit tricky sometimes kapow/ID but Netflix is walmart and yet smyths stocks them.

for amazon exclusives...sadly amazon UK can be a bit pants (they have Alternate Universe Prime but not the ironhide/prowl, conehead seekers) so you may find some or none, try european amazons but still no guarantees.

ToysRus exclusives, eg rainmakers...pretty much forget about it but still more chance than than Walgreens...

Walgreens exclusives...pretty much forget about it and hope that Japan releases them as retail/takara tomy mail offers (which kapow or ID might stock) or amazon japan.

It's not all bad, lots of the exclusives are a lot eaiser and cheaper to get than previous botcon or subscription service.

If it's a specific figure you are aftermight be worth asking in the UK local sightings on the forums here and some one might be able to help point ya in the right direction for it.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

I will certainly keep an eye on the places mentioned but I think I may have been a bit late to the Party to get the Earthrise seeker twin packs. hopefully with the success of the Netflix series it will make them easier to find in the UK going forward but doubt it.

Hopefully there will be a restock of the ER seekers at some point.

I forgot gamestop exclusives but they are similar to walmart/target stuff and if you are collecting WFC retail release battlemasters or micromasters it is probably best to preorder them through online retailers as not many places carry them and do not get plentiful stock -I just wait for what ever slim pickings might appear in B&M or Homebargains for those kind of things unless it is a must have.

I ended up buying from ebay and its not something I plan to do going forward if I can help it. I'm not wanting every one released just ones I have find memories of.
