So I got an Alternators Sunstreaker from Fry's Electronics, but I was then able to get him cheaper when he showed up on walmart.com and did the site-to-store. If anyone here wants him, he's yours for cost plus shipping. Unfortunately, Fry's marks those puppies up to $24.99. The bubble is in good shape, and the box is in pretty good shape (no crumples or anything, just some light dents from rough handling). There is, however, a Fry's price tag on the cardboard, visible from the side. If you're not familiar with Fry's, it's 1.5 x 3 inches and kind of looks like a mailing label.

If nobody wants it, I will be returning him, and need to do so by Friday (9/28 ). If you want him, you'll need to let me know by PM by Thursday evening and pay via paypal due to the timeline. It would be 24.99 + 8.25% sales tax plus USPS priority postage + paypal fees (not losing money to do a favor! ).

Hope this helps someone with their collection -- I just started with Alternators this summer, and it's been rough trying to get these guys at a reasonable price.

Since fardsnog is selling one of these guys for $16, there is no point in me holding off on returning it (hey, I wouldn't buy this one either ). If anyone in Dallas wants to try to snag it, I'll returning it to the Plano Fry's tomorrow afternoon.

No, don't worry about it at all! I was going to return it anyway, but figured if someone didn't have any luck finding it, they could have it instead of some random dude walking through Fry's. I had a really hard time finding him, but I guess that's because Dallas is really picked over. It's actually less effort for me to return him than to ship him out. The price was high because that's what I paid at Fry's, and I just wanted to make sure I got all of my money back -- I'm not running a Transformers orphanage !
