Questions about BST

I have a few items that I may eventually want to sell (mp nemesis, mp magnus, rotf stuff) and I have a few questions.

I have never sold anything online before so I'm unsure of the risks as a seller. I know I would only ever accept pay pal for payment. However, can the buyer take advantage of you using pay pal?

For example....PayPal buyer protection

I sell the buyer an item, I receive pay pal payment, I ship item. Buyer receives item but then puts in a claim with pay pal that they didn't receive the item I shipped or that it was not what they paid for. Paypal retracts the money they paid me, and I lose my item?

Maybe that's me being a worry wort, but I think I've heard of people complaining about things like that before.

Is there anything else I should be concerned with ?

sorry for the rant :P Thanks!

Well if you sell outside of ebay I suppose you can be a victim of that. I also just started selling online and so far ive had wonderful experiences. i wish i could be more use but since I myself just started all i can do is direct towards good buyers and good sellers :)

You do have a risk of getting people who will mess around with you, but I actually been selling since the release of the original iPhone and i have had one person try to screw me over but eBay canceled the whole transaction and they helped me get it back listed adn everything. If you do sell on ebay, you as a seller have the right to refuse anyones bid or buy it now. Also don't deal internationally cause then you tend to get the bad people more. Also if you use buy it now, have the buyer pay immediately and that will deter any bots who are browsing ebay.

There's always a risk with buying or selling online whether its a Transformer website or E-bay but one piece of advice I can give is for starters ALWAYS check someone's feedback if you arent sure about that person's honesty and that will give you an idea of who and who not to deal with but remember, its still a risk you are taking but more often you will deal with some very good buyers and sellers and even make some new friends.Hope this helps ya!
