Am I selling anything that I would regret? It seems the value is more than I thought, so it opens my possibilities of collecting G1 transformers. I want a mint optimus prime to start...a hotrod and a couple others that are nearly new. I feel that I may be making a mistake!?! Thoughts?

First of all, welcome to Seibertron!
Second of all, I'm personally way too attached to my childhood Transformers to part with them. Unless you're strapped for cash, you can still buy minty G1 toys or reissues without parting with your originals.

I've seen people come and go, people selling their G1 Collections for new horizons. But selling their G1 collection to start anew? I don't know man, I just don't see any sense in letting something like that go - unless G1 doesn't meant anything to you anymore, it's just G1's the most valuable figures that Transformers has. It's something you're definitely going to get alot of money for, and If you need any help finding new Transformers figures, the rest of the community and I will be willing to help point you in the right direction.

I've had these in storage, and I'm lazy... I don't want to find the missing parts and I just want a pretty display set. I have space to display them now and I really don't have much emotional attachment to the toys (or anything else) lol I guess I wanna start anew because it's easy, and I really just want a select few mint ones with box to display. I may sell my 2500 vintage hotwheels also...don't wanna store those anymore...

YOU CRAZY!! Keep that OG G1 goodness! search through what you have and want to have in better quality but KEEP your originals!! THat's my opinion though.
DOn't sell nothin till you've replaced it or researched how much it's actually worth and see if you wanna part with it and pay triple for what you already have.
It's very backwards psychology to me....i'm perplexed with your logic.

If it's not too late for you, I would recommend trading your old toys to
Transformerland.com for store credit, and then buying minty new ones, whenever the store restocks G1. It's a great shop that I've been going to for a few years now.

I wish, I was in your shoe right now. I would rather have the original figures with missing parts then the minty fresh TF Reissue. Although I have more Reissue TF than the original TF, I still prefer to buy the original even if it's only loose figure and not misb.

WOW! I think your making a major mistake by selling like this. You should shop around first and get prices on the individual figures you have. Technically, your whole collection could go for the current asking price...which would be a HUGE disservice to you.
I would have, at the least, put a reserve price on this. I really hope you don't get screwed. Most of the damage you stated to certain figures sounds pretty small and could probably be fixed with minor effort. If you could bring them up to standard, you could probably sell individual complete figures for a lot more than you think.
My 2 cents: End this auction early with an apology to those that have bid. Do your homework. Then put it up for auction when you are more informed on what you have. You have some good figures in good condition. Don't give them away...

Yeah. a reserve price would protect your current investment. I myself, am not into G1 (only classics/universe/generations for me.) But you will regret it if they go for too low. Nice stuff in there too.

Ok... I canceled the auction... I am selling bruticus, with a higher starting price...I think I will just sell my personal least desired ones first. I think you guys are right to tell me to piece them out because I think each one is 100% complete, I just have to take the time to match everything. I had even forgotten that bruticus was in there!
